Chapter 4 - The Party I

The Party
(part I)

Liams POV

Nasa loob na kami ng elevator at pinindot ni Dad ang no. 2 kasi sa 2nd floor daw ang party. Naka pang beach attire kaming mag-pamilya. Hawaiian daw kasi ang theme sa birthday ni Grandpa.

Sina Mom at Ate na naka casual beach attire, kulay purple kay Ate at kay Mom naman ay dark blue at may flower² design ang mga ito. They really look alike, they are both gorgeous. Di halatang 40 yrs old na si Mom because of her beauty and pananamit.

While si Dad naman at ako ay naka polo na pang Hawaiian talaga, dark blue din ang kulay ng kay Dad na tumerno kay Mom at naka white shorts na hanggang tuhod na tumerno sa kanyang polo. He looks so Cool and handsome in his attire. Same lang kami ni Dad pero light blue ang kulay ng polo ko at medyo mas maliit ang shorts ko kung ikumpara kay Dad.

Tumunog ang elevator senyales na nakarating na kami sa 2nd floor. Agad na bumungad sa amin ang staff ng hotel at nag-greet sa amin. At sinabing sundan daw namin siya at nandun na daw sina Grandpa at ang mga bisita sa venue.

It's the 2nd floor and there are so many rooms at may infinity pool sa gitna. Wow!

Nakarating kami sa parang hall at pagpasok namin ay di ko inexpect na ganito pala karami ang mga bisita na naka pang beach attire din. May parang stage sa gitna at sa gilid is may malaking table kung saan nakalagay ang lahat ng mga pagkain and there are also tables and chairs everywhere. Well arranged ang mga ito at ang mga design is so unique.

Sinalubong kami ng kapatid ni Dad na si Tito Oliver kasama ang kanyang asawa na si Tita Savannah. Sila lang naman ang tita at tito na sinasabi ko sa inyo. They looked so cool in their terno attire though.

"Hey welcome! what a beautiful family isn't it?" Tito Oliver said. And my Dad just nodded at them.

"Long time no see, right?" Tita Savannah. Lumapit siya kay Mom and kay Ate para bumiso. Then nag-mano lang ako sa kanilang dalawa.

"Yeah! You're right, it's been so long since nagkita tayo ulit. How are you?" my Mom.

"We're okay. How about you Liam? Actually miss ka na ng mga pinsan mo so you should meet them," she said. 'Miss me? Haha but I don't miss them! Sorry tita.' I said to myself.

"Ok, siguro later po Tita. Imposible namang di kami magkikita right?" kasi I know that they still approach me everywhere when they see me.

"Tama nga naman! So maybe I think we should go see Grandpa first Mom, Dad?" my sister interrupted.

"Right! so please excuse us." my Dad said then he held Mom's hand then started walking at sumunod lang kami. I can see in my peripheral vision the annoyed face of my tito.

"Greetings from us father. It's been a while," my Dad said with a smile on his face.

"Thank you so much, my son, I thought you wouldn't come." My Grandpa replied, then they hugged each other. My Mom and sister also gave Grandpa a warm hug.

"Happy Birthday Grandpa! Please accept this small present for you. Hopefully you would lov---" I was so surprised when my Grandpa suddenly hugged me.

"Of course I would accept and love whatever present you would bring, JL, though what's important for me is your presence on my special day." He replied. I don't know the reason why Grandpa is very nice to me but I'm so blessed and thankful for it. "I never thought you would bring me a present. Thank you very much my favorite apo!" he added.

"Ohhh, What a sweet moment isn't it?" Jhon said.

"Oh my gosh! Grandpa did I just hear you calling that gay your 'Favorite Apo?" Samantha asked.

"Should we greet each other first before asking some questions? Or maybe not?" I replied with a smirk. "Well, Jhon Fritz, as you can see I'm having a sweet moment with Grandpa not until you two interrupt----I mean arrived. And for your question, Samantha, you've heard it clearly." I added. Opps, It seems like napa-aga ata ang pag-meet namin ng mga demonyo kung pinsan. What a cute greetings we had!
