Welcome!! This is another Bucky/Grace lol. Same couple as my other two books, but a completely different timeline, so you don't need to read those to get this.
That said, this contains spoilers for Soft Robotics. Grace's SR character arc happened before this book begins, but Bucky wasn't there for it. It's explained in the book enough for you to know what's going on if you didn't read/finish SR and aren't planning to.
Post-TFATWS, bc Endgame happened and Sam is Captain America, but it also diverges from the canon timeline right away into stuff I made up. :-) It's not a fix-it tho—the universe/plot changes are for genre bending reasons. I truly don't know what sub-genre of sci-fi to say this is part of (I don't write sci-fi outside of fanfic so pls enlighten me if you have ideas for what sub-genre this is) but it's basically romance + spooky/haunted/gothic + advanced technology lol.
(Just FYI there is eventually going to be smut that is more explicit than my other books.)
