3rd Person's POV:
After an uncomfortable silence, Haniel then took a cookie and tried feeding his Father. Claude then stared at Haniel weirdly when the young figure is holding the cookie to his mouth. Claude then sighed and opened his mouth, making the Prince smile and immediately putting the cookies on his Father's mouth. What Haniel did made the Emperor choke; After all, He put a whole-ass cookie on his Father's mouth. Noticing his Father coughing and choking, Haniel then took a cup of tea and hands it over to his Father-who's currently choking, and pats his back. After Choking, Claude then looked at Haniel who has a worried and disappointed expression."Why are you making that expression?"Claude said as he took Haniel's small hands. Haniel then looked at his Father with teary eyes."I'm sorry for forcing the cookie right in your mouth...Sorry.."He said while sniffing. Claude then pats the small figure's back and whispers; "Now now...Stop crying, ok? I'm not mad. I'm just shocked that's all" He said while giving a small reassuring smile to the boy. Noticing his father's expression, Haniel then nodded and wiped the tears that are about to fall. As the Emperor was about to return to his seat, Haniel then hugged his father's thighs."Please seat beside me, Papa.."He said while giving puppy eyes. Claude then couldn't help but to smile and ruffle the lad's hair.
After a while of talking and bonding, Haniel then yawned and felt sleepy. Noticing that his son's not talking that much, Claude then looked at Haniel, yawning and blinking. Smiling, Claude then asked his son if he wants to sleep already, The prince then just nod as he doesn't have any energy to talk anymore. Claude then carried his son who's half-sleeping back to the mansion.
After closing the door to the secret base, Claude then spotted a knight who's looking for them. Sighing, Claude then called Felix which looked at them as if they're a ghost."Are you alright your highness?!"He asked."Of course. Now lower your voice, My son is sleeping."As he said those words, Felix then looked at the sleeping prince and nods.
As the pair exited the maze, many of the maids, knights, and butlers who seems to be looking for their prince, welcomed them. As the workers saw the prince sleeping, they then lowered their voices and immediately sighed in relief. Claude then made his way to the Prince's room and set the prince on his bed. After taking a bath, Claude then stands on his son's bed while looking at him. After a while, Claude then fell asleep on the chair.
A week then passed after their bonding. These past days, The father and son duo are spending their time together. Either reading or playing chess. It's just a normal hang out but it's fun. As the day came, Haniel then woke up early. You might ask, "Why early?"Well, Claude asked his son if he wants to come with him to the empire. At first, Haniel was hesitant. After all, He would leave his maids, butlers, and knights, so he said no. Claude then convinced his son as he says that Haniel could bring some of his workers with him. Haniel then asked the maids, butlers, and knights if they want to come. The majority of the people said no because they also wanted to meet and spend time with their family. Understanding the situation, Haniel then told them that they could meet their families once he leaves. The only people who still wanted to serve Haniel are Shizuka and Solomon(the knight from the first chapter).
