Lia's P.O.V

"Hey Misa!" I shouted at the top of my lungs to my bestie. Yes, Misa is my best friend. She's cool, intelligent, humourous, pretty, quick-witted almost everything one can ask for themselves in their life. She's really like an angel who's existance is hard to believe.

She's really the best person someone can have as a friend, full of kindness, goofiness, funny and sometimes carefree nature. It's still hard to believe that someone like her is my classmate. I really want to have her all of myself. Scary right ..hehe. Kidding . Actually I want to spend more and more time with her. It doesn't matter how much time she stays with me I always want more. I want her to see me as her best friend too but sadly it's only one sided.

She never called me her best friend. I somehow know that I'm not her best friend because she's neither my seatmate and she has Hervi as her best friend. Although I really want her to notice that how much she means to me, but still I can't do anything because after all my efforts almost every girl in my class can understand how much badly I want to make her my best friend but still she's oblivious.

But it's not like she doesn't know me at all. Though not her best friend still I'm a really special friend to her. We have been friends for almost 6 years. Our fathers knew eachother as both of them were in business lines. We accompained eachother after school, talked, laughed and enjoyed all together.

"Hey Lia" she replied, showing her radiant smile, gazing at me with her black deep ocean like orbs with slight glistening that provides a spark like feature to her almond shaped eyes, long fluttering eyelashes, slim but cute cheeks with a natural blush like redness, pointed little nose, rosy red lips, deep dimples and the small mole under her lower lip which provided an icing on cake to her angelic face. All these features of her never failed to turn a lot of heads towards her.

'Just beautiful' was the phrase that could be appropriate for such a refined girl like her.

Waving my hand with full strength I ran towards her almost jumping at her little fragile body as I reached towards her. I hugged her tightly and held her protectively as if telling her how much I missed her. When I broke the hug she looked at me smiling and said "I can sense that you sure missed me a lot." I nod my head grinning like a small child as I feel happy that she realised how much I missed her over the past summer holidays.

She pats my head and takes my hand in hers slowly. She puts a small bear keychain in my palm " This is a souvenir I bought for you from my trip to jeju. When I saw it in the shop on the beach you were the first person who came to my mind so I immediately bought it for you. I think it can go nicely with your backpack's chain." she said.

My lips curve into the biggest smile I can show as I look at the cute little keychain in my hands. It's so cute and so special as it's from her. I smile and jump like an idiot in front of her.

She laughed lightly and said," I can see you liked it very much. Well I'm happy that you liked it." "Like it ? I love it. It's so cute. Thanks a lot Misa. You're really great. But...I have something for you too".

She glances at me anticipating what I have for her. I slowly crawl a small package out of my bag as I shyly hand it over to her, full of nervousness if she would like it or not. She opens the package with her slender fingers and takes out the gift.

"It's a diary!!" She exclaims. I duck down my head from embarrassment not knowing if she would like it or not. "It's so pretty, thanks a lot Lia, how did you know I needed a diary badly?" Scratching the back of my neck I shyly say" I just guessed if you would like it."

She held my hand and looks deep into my eyes with a huge smile on her face. " It's really amazing. Thanks a lot Lia. I'll always keep it safe with me." she said. I smile a little knowing that she liked my gift.

Suddenly my homeroom teacher enters the class. We bid our goodbyes for now as we proceeded to our seats while my teacher fixed her eyeglasses. She eyes the class over and greets us taking her seat.

"Good morning everyone. Welcome to the new session. I hope you all will study hard and have fun in this new session." We all replied positively to her and waited for her to continue.

She gazed over the classroom door and turned to us as she said, "A new student is going to join the class today, I hope you all will treat him nicely."

As she completes her sentence, a boy almost of our age enters the class. He looks at the teacher and then turns over to us.

"Hello everyone!" He beems with delight. "My name is Saze. Nice to meet you all. I hope we'll make the best memories together this year." He said grining widely. I don't know why but I sensed trouble with this boy, better stay away from him. I glanced over to Misa and saw her calm face. When she noticed me she smiled at me and I returned a smile to her.

I turned forward and noticed that new the boy was looking at one corner of the room. Following his eyes I take a look as to where he was looking, only to realise that his eyes were on Misa. 'Why is he looking at her' I thought to myself. He turns on his heels only to walk over to the other corner of the room and took a seat beside Rake.

I shake this thought away from my head as I continue paying attention to what our teacher was saying.

The period was over soon and I walked over to Misa to ask her if I could accompany her to lunch. She smiled at me and we both walked towards the cafeteria. Once we entered we noticed a lot of ruckus in the cafeteria.

The girls were squealing while looking over a certain direction. As I followed their gaze I saw a familiar face. "It's that new boy!" I wispered. Misa looked over and nodded her head not paying much attention. She took the lead and I followed her to grab my meal, totally ignoring those stupid fangirls.

We took our seats beside a window as it was Misa's favourite spot in the whole cafeteria, away from all the screams and cries.

She stares out of the window and her hair move in rythym with the wind blowing into the the window. It was such a beautiful scene that I was unable to take by eyes away from her. "Let's dig in" she said as she began to stuff her mouth with her pizza. I zoned out for a moment but was bought to reality when I suddenly felt a tap over my shoulder.

I turned to look over and saw Hervi looking at me and Misa. "Can I sit over here?" she asked.

"Yes" I said nonchalantly.S
he took a seat beside Misa and we started eating.

"Did you see the new boy?" Hervi said. Misa nodded in her direction.

"He really has some charms. All the girls in the class are fangirling over him." Hervi said.

"What charms? All I can see is that he's just a normal new student, nothing special." I replied getting a bit annoyed by all the ruckus that was caused by him earlier.

Giggling Hervi said"Ooh! I can see, someone is getting a bit jelly. Tell me are you also infatuated by him?"

"Why would I be?" I scoffed at her.

"Hah! Just kidding. Why are you so serious by the way?"she asked raising one eyebrow.
"I just don't like him, he seems troublesome." I replied.

Suddenly I saw Hervi's eyes go wide as she looked behind me. I tried to look in that direction but before I could I felt someone behind me. I turned around to see the same boy standing behind me.
