A guard delivered my overnight bag and garment bag during the next hour, and I carefully hung my blue satin dress in the wardrobe in Loki's room.  I then crossed the room and ran my fingertips along the books on his walls, reading the titles.  There were actually several I recognized - Shakespeare, several collections of poetry, even Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte.  Finally I heard the door open behind me, and I jumped back by the bed, my hands behind my back.  Loki entered the room, his eyes searching the room for me.

"Paige," I shiver when I heard him say my name – his voice was foreign, angry.  I spoke,  and he reached for me, kissing me deeply.  I could feel his frustration.  "I am so sorry about the Allfather.  He is a fool."

"Don't worry about it," I told him, forcing a smile.  "Not a big deal." Loki shook his head.

"That damned man," Loki growled, and I put my arms around his waist, hugging him.

"Please," I said, "Let's just forget it happened.  Let's just enjoy the meal tonight, and you can take me around Asgard tomorrow." Loki nodded, and kissed the palm of my hand.

"Agreed."  He glanced at the bed.  "I see mother gave you something to wear this evening," I smile and followed his gaze.

"Yeah," I laugh.  "She, ah, said you'd know how to dress me." I eyed him, and a mischievous grin spread across his face.

"That I can do," He gently turned me away from him, and unzipped my dress, his lips brushing each bit of exposed skin.  "Unfortunately, I do not have time to take you the way I would like, but there will be time later," I felt him say against my back, and I shivered happily as he let my dress drop to the floor.  I obediently stepped out of it, and he carefully slipped the soft robes over my head.  To my surprise, there was a corset that went over the top which he added, and gently began to tie.

"Not too tight?" Loki asked me, and I shook my head, afraid my voice would fail me if I used it.  It was all so sexy . . .  He finished tying, then turned me around to face him.  Loki's eyes swept my body as he tied the waist belt, then stood back to look at his work.  I grinned, and turned a circle for him.

"Beautiful," He said, pulling me close for a quick kiss.  "Now, your hair." He gently pushed me down onto the bench at the end of his bed, and I closed my eyes as I felt his fingers go to work in my long hair.  I felt him pulling it tight against my head, and when he was done, I moved to look in the mirror and see that it is in a sweeping French braid that ran around the curve of my neck and shoulder.

"It's perfect," I told him, kissing him again.  "Where did you learn . . ."  He held up a hand.

"Don't ask."  I considered and nodded.  He turned away from me and waved. a hand over himself, and his own armor disappears, instead replaced by soft robes in the color of green and black trimmed in gold.  His black hair hangs loose around his shoulders, and I can't help but reach up to run my fingers through it.

"Do you have any idea how handsome you are?" I ask nonchalantly.  He smiled at me, and pulled me close, his fingers interlacing with mine.

"We should probably go to the feast," He said quietly, "before . . ." He began to kiss me, his mouth opening, his tongue toying with mine.

BANG BANG BANG

Loki groaned, and rested his forehead against mine.

"Brother!  Lady Paige!  It is time!" The door swung open, and Thor strode inside, a huge grin on his face.  "Are you both ready?  We feast tonight!"

"Thor, how many times . . ." Thor laughed loudly and grabbedhis brother in a large hug.  I quickly covered my laugh, knowing that Loki was annoyed.  When Thor put him down, Loki straightened his clothes, then offered his arm to me.
