{On Hiatus} Trust (Kirishima x Trans!Male!Reader)

Chapter 2

Get ready for ANGST(only a little bit). We are getting into some of the buckets of trauma (Y/N) has. YAY!

I was wrong. I was so wrong. I'm sitting down, eating and talking with the bakusquad, minus Bakugou, and I see him.

Monoma Neito.

I thought I got away from him. I thought us going to different middle schools was the end of it. I thought I could be sane again.

"You know, (D/N). You really should remember these things. If you don't then you're going to fail."

"No, forgetting to turn in a few assignments isn't going to do anything, Neito. I get B's on all of my tests anyways.

"And you should be getting A's. You're in the highly capable program. You're supposed to be smart."

"But this is 6th grade math. We are in 5th grade. We are smart."

"Neito! I'm sick and tired of you constantly telling me I'm not good enough! This has been going on since 2nd grade! You're supposed to be my friend. It's gotten so much worse this year now that Elisa moved away. Mere weeks ago you said 'you should be getting A's, you're supposed to be smart.' It hurts."

"I never said that, and I've never done anything to you, you're making these things up."

(He wasn't hit by a quirk or anything, he's just a gaslighting jerk. Just thought I should clear that up.)

I think Shinsou could see me panic-stricken, because he interrupts whatever conversation they were having. "(L/N)? Are you okay? You look panicked."

"I-I'm fine." I adjust myself. "Really, it's nothing." I can see that the group doesn't buy it, but they decide not to pry. I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding in.

They continue the conversation they were holding earlier, and I glance around the room. I see Bakugou, Midoriya, and Todoroki eating together at a table in the corner. Bakugou seems a lot happier than this morning, he's even laughing. I chuckle a little.

"(L/N)! Why would you laugh at stray cats?!" Kaminari exclaims, an offended look on her face, as he hugged their boyfriend tighter.

I shake my head. "No no, not that. Bakugou just looks a lot happier than this morning."

Mina does a quick bounce in her seat. "I know, right? Todobakudeku is so cute!" It says excitedly(Hehe neopronouns). I look at her confused. "That's their ship name that I came up with! There's also shinkami," it points to Kaminari and Shinsou, "Momojirou, who are Yaomomo and Jirou from class, as well as Tsuchako, Tsu and Uraraka." She rambles(I love Mina so much).

Kirishima interjects. "Mina, I think that's enough exposing our classmate's love lives. And, (L/N), if you haven't already guessed, almost everybody in 1-A is queer in some form."

"Iida is the only straight person in the class, but he is the biggest ally ever. And, Sato and Shoji are both questioning." Sero says. "Unless you're straight, (L/N)."

"No, I'm bi, and trans." I say, picking up my cup to take a sip.

"(D/N)? You go to UA?" I just about spit out my water, but instead find myself choking on it(Ha, mood). I haven't heard that name in such a long time. Especially not from him.

"Get lost, Monoma." Mina says.

"What? I can't say hi to my good friend, (D/N)?"

I stand up. "I'm going to have a talk with him in private, don't follow me, I have some unfinished business to attend to." And with that, I grab his shirt and drag him into an empty hallway. I slap him as hard as I can across his face. "I fucking hate you!" He holds his red cheek in disbelief.

"What the hell was that for?!"

"That was for gaslighting me for 4 years!" I slap him again. "That was for the weekly therapy I have to go to!" I kick him in the nuts and he falls to the ground. "And that was for my friends, because they clearly didn't like you. Oh, and by the way. My name is (L/N) (Y/N), and you don't get to call me by my first name anymore. Not after what you did."

I walk back to my table of friends and sit down. "What just happened?" Kirishima asks, concerned.

"I knew him grades 2-5, and like I said, I had some unfinished business to attend to that involved him."

'I am brave, and I am strong.'

(So I know this chapter was a bit short, but it was a good stopping point, and the next story event is going to be kind of long, so yeah. Constructive criticism is always welcomed. And I'm not going to have one chapter a day, I've just had A LOT of creativity recently. It's probably going to be closer to 1-3 updates a week. Okay bye!)
