(Okay, this is something I forgot to mention earlier, but (Y/N) used to be in a hero school before he moved, he just had to change schools because it would be a multi-hour drive to the old school. Just go with it.)

After lunch we headed to the lockers to get changed into our hero suits, but I changed in the bathroom because I have to change into my exercise binder(So this is like an actual thing that I'm going to explain. It's bad to exercise in a regular binder, so what many trans people do is have a separate binder that is a size too big that we wear for exercising).

After I do that, I walk back into the locker room, and just about have a bi panic attack. I'm face to face with a shirtless Kirishima. Well, his hero suit is shirtless, so I'm just going to have to deal with it until after school.

"Okay, students. So today we will be doing 1v1 randomized battles. Your goal is to immobilize your opponent in any way. Just please don't cause any serious harm to your opponent." He glares at Bakugou. He takes two pieces of paper from a hat. "Kirishima Eijirou and (L/N) (Y/N)." Shit.

We get into position, my hand on the shurikens on my belt. I won't be able to do anything, not because I have a weak quirk, it's just a bad quirk matchup. I hear the signal for us to start, and I run in the opposite direction from Kirishima. The best thing I can do for now is be at a distance, and hope he stops using his quirk for just 5 seconds.

We're in a city, so there's lots of good hiding places. I start coming up with a better plan than just 'run away'. He probably doesn't feel the need to harden his eyes, so I should probably throw something at that. However, Mr. Aizawa said not to cause any serious harm to your opponent, so I cant use my shurikens.

I pick up one of the many smooth pebbles at my feet. This will work. I stand up and start heading back to where I last saw Kirishima. I see him and hide behind the corner of a building. He's walking at a pretty normal pace, so this should be too hard.

I step out from behind the building and look him in the eye. I throw the small rock as he starts running towards me. It hits him right in the eye. He stumbles back and I take this as my opportunity to pin him down.

Only, he ends up quickly flipping us around, and straddles my lap, pinning my hands above my head. I look at his slightly reddened eye, and down to his lips that are forming a cute smirk. My eyes travel down to his abs that are slightly shiny with sweat, and- NO! (Y/N), you don't think about your friends like this. I just met him today, what is happening?

He gets up and offers me his hand. I guess Mr. Aizawa must have ended the fight. I grab Kiri's hand, and he heaves me up. "That was a fun match, (L/N)! You certainly took me by surprise when you threw that rock at my eye, you have crazy good aim."

"Oh, yeah that's kind of my quirk. Perfect aim, but it's really hard to use." We start walking to the locker room. Kirishima looks confused. "I can aim perfectly at any specific point, not a specific target. This means that if I aimed at where your eye was, I would have probably missed, so I have to aim for where my target is going to be. I had to think about where you were, what your stride was, how quickly you were walking, and where exactly your eye was going to be by the time the rock hit you."

He has a look of bafflement on his face. "Wow, that is a lot more complicated than I thought."

"It has taken years of practice." I say as we enter the locker room. "I only mastered it a few months ago, and even then, I still miss a lot if my target is moving unpredictably."

"Your quirk is really strong, dude. You could probably beat bakugou in a fight." He says, removing his hero suit.

I chuckle a little. "Me? Beat the person who scored highest in the sports festival? I don't think so." I start getting changed into my school uniform.

"But you would have a good quirk matchup. You could use a similar strategy to what you used today, his quirk doesn't help with defence at all, and if he can't see you, he can't attack you." He says with the biggest grin I've ever seen, it was so cute.

Now that we are back into our uniforms(Yes, (Y/N) is still wearing his exercise binder), we walk back to where the class is watching the matchups. It was currently Yaoyorozu vs the invisible girl. It was a little boring, Yaoyorozu was setting something up with flour, and invisible girl didn't have her hero suit on.

We are back in the classroom, having a class conversation about what people did right and wrong. I wasn't paying much attention until I heard my name. "Now, what can we say about (L/N)'s strategy?" Mr. Aizawa asks the class.(I know this isn't very in character for him, that or I've read too much erasermic fanfic, but just shush.)

"He hid, so he could attack from a distance, because that was the best course of action with his quirk." Someone said. (Let's just pretend that Aizawa told the class (Y/N)'s quirk while kiri had to fight him and figure it out himself.)

Kirishima speaks up. "I honestly don't think he did anything wrong, it was just a bad quirk matchup. He had to rely on projectile weapons that didn't do much damage, going against someone who's quirk makes them tough as a rock. He was very smart about it, and struck me in the eye, and used that as an opportunity to tackle me."

Mr. Aizawa nods in agreement. "(L/N) did what he could in a bad matchup, and one bad fight doesn't necessarily mean he's weak."

I'm walking out of the school when Kirishima runs up to me. "What is it, Kiri?" I ask.

"Me and the bakusquad are having a sleepover today, we were wondering if you wanted to come."

"I would love to come!" I reply. "I just have to check with my parents to see if it's okay." I pull out my phone and text my parents. They say it's fine, just no alcohol, which I'm fine with. "They said it's fine, What's the address so I can tell them for in case of an emergency?"

"Oh, yeah, it's (Insert random address here), now come on, it's happening at my house!" He says as he drags me on the bus.

This is the best first day ever.

(This chapter is kind of short, because I wanted to add this into the story, but the next chapter is going to be long... probably. Also guess what? I'M SICK. And so are my parents. My dad's currently waiting on a covid test, even though it's probably covid.)
