Hi everyone!!! Before we start the story I just wanted to say a few things.
1.) This is going to be a short story, no more than 15 chapters long. But it will be a heart breaker. If you thought strawberries and cigarettes was bad... you have another thing coming lovelies.
2.) This story contains a lot of talk of mental health, suicidal thoughts, hospital struggles, eating disorders, cancer and death. I will try my best to ease into these conversations so that way you will which parts to skip if any of these topics are triggering.
3.) I am in no way an expert when it comes to all of the conditions that are going to be covered in this book. The stories that are going to be shared are my experiences with things such as cancer, heart conditions, epilepsy, along with many other diagnoses that come through hospitals. That being said, I'm not going to get every detail right. So if I write something that comes off even the slightest bit offensive in anyway shape or form... please talk to me about it. I want this to be an open communion between you and I. If you think I can speak on something different and/or better... please tell me. I want to be transparent with you all and I want this story to be a safe space for everyone.
4.) This is not going to be the typical Harry Styles fan fiction. There isn't going to be hot, sexy smut scenes. There won't be much sexual interactions because as it's been stated... this book takes place in a hospital. This story is about the power of love that isn't alway the most physical. It is about seeing the beauty in life from those all around us. It's about finding light in the darkest of times. This is about the power the friendship, the power of love in ways not everyone thinks of.
5.) I mean no disrespect to ANYONE who is going through any of these situations. It is a story I have always wanted to write, only now the main characters are going to look like the boys from One Direction.
6.) If you don't like the story, that's okay. I completely understand because there are plenty of stories on this app that aren't necessarily my favorite. But please remember to be kind. If you don't like, you don't have to keep reading. But if you love, than please by all means share you thoughts and concerns. I can take criticism and with topics like the ones in this book... i encourage it. But there is a difference between leaving hate and educating someone. Remember to be kind, that's all I ask.
7.) I love you all so much, I can't wait for you all to be on this journey with me :)
