<???'s POV>

Truth is a strange thing. It can free you. It can imprison you. And almost always...

You run from it. Or suffer embracing that someone is gone. Or the reality of what you are.

To say its been a big part of my life. Is like saying our Sun is the reason we're all here. It's nothing but the truth.

It's raining, hard at that. Like all of the water in the vast seas were coming back down at once. It was dark. Almost impossible to see due to the darkness of the night. All I could hear was the rain landing in the sea under me. And the loud pitter patter of rain landing on my metallic mask.

I'm not used to this brutal weather. And flights as long as this. I felt tired. Like I was constantly slipping away. But I knew I had to fly away from where I was last. And soon enough I could see something..Curious. Fire. It was dim, and distant. But real. Reachable.

I flew over to one of the few fires. And saw a...Human, statue. I let out a heavy sigh as I looked for the island it belonged to. I stared out into the darkness for a while. It felt like forever. However. Thankfully. Or unluckily, time will be the judge here. I saw it. So I took in a deep breath before flying towards a forest I saw.

Though of course I couldn't have it easy. And I felt myself slip away as I neared the island. I pushed myself to keep flying, I could feel my body begin to burn away at the green embers keeping me alive. But of course. It wont keep me awake forever.

So when I reached above the forest. I let go and let the darkness consume me once more, as I fell into the unknown.

<Toothless's POV>

"Bud, whats up?"

I turned and looked over my shoulder at Hiccup. He was my brother. Someone I can always count on, and has been there for me through thick and thin, and I do the same for him.
"Nothing. I'm just making sure everyone is in the hall before the worse of the storm is in play" I responded. "No-One left behind?" He asked. "No-one left behind" I repeated. He smiled and pat me on the head.

"I see you've also taken to the whole 'leader' thing" He said. Looking out at the sky with me. "You keep the humans in check. I keep the dragons in check" I said. Licking his cheek. "Finally your careful with the licking" he said with a chuckle. I chuckled with him. "I know it doesn't wash out"

We stood in silence for a bit. The chatter from the Great Hall behind us. And the thunder and the rain on the horizon.

"Well...I think everyone is in" Hiccup said. Looking around. "Yeah..Probably" I responded.

As we went to go inside of the Hall, to remain until the storm clears. Something seemed to..Appear in the sky? It was a green fire. I guess would be a way to describe it. Though due to it I could..Just barely make out the shape of a dragon. Then, it fell from the sky and landed in the forest.

"Did..You see that?" I asked, looking at Hiccup. "Yeah, I did. We should go check it out" He said back in response. Before climbing onto the saddle on my back. We then took flight towards the forest. Where I was shot down five years ago..

Crazy how long it's been.. Ironic that a dragon is crashing where I did, too. Went down near it anyway.

After a few moments we were utterly soaked. As we were of course no longer under the overhang the mountain the Great Hall is in. "I think it appeared roughly above us, which way did it fall?" Hiccup mumbled to himself. I glanced around for any signs of a downed dragon. Though it was too dark to see much. Even though I can still see decently in the dark, I guess the rain made it worse.
