"This is so uncomfortable" I mumbled, sat beside Riddle and his few 'mates', though I doubt they actually meant anything to him.

"Too bad. You owe me now. I could've ditched you at any point earlier" He replied, picking at a chicken bone.

"It's not like I needed you anyw-" "Eat" He interrupted me. I let out an irritated sigh, pulling apart a bread roll that I'd set on my dish previously.

I examined the people around the table, no one really familiar, not even anyone's parents. One dude had platinum blonde hair.

'Maybe a Malfoy' I smirked.

"So. What is a Gryffindor like you doing here?" The blonde set his chin on his hand, smirking.

"I've been blackjacked into sitting here" I ripped off some bread and set it in my mouth.

"By who, might I ask" Blondie wondered. I carelessly jabbed my index finger to my left, towards Riddle who was sat right next to me. I didn't even turn my head to acknowledge him.

I saw the blonde kid's eyebrows lift as he sent a questioning look towards Tom.

"Right. Okay" He muttered when Tom didn't even look up at the conversation topic.

I looked around. There is literally no one was here that I could recognize. I sighed.

"So. Who are you?" I looked back across the table towards the blondie.

"Abraxas. Malfoy" He grinned, holding out a hand for me to shake.

'Knew it' I ignored his offer to shake his hand, and witnessed a side glance from Riddle.

"Holy shit. I gotta go" I grinned, remembering something absolutely amazing.

"It's literally only been five minutes" Tom muttered looking up at me. I grinned, feeling utterly victorious. I simply shrugged at him, stepping out from the seat, and moving to leave. Tom grabs my wrist.

"At least take this. You seemed to be starving earlier and you've only eaten half a roll" He reached over to the bread basket and placed another roll in my hand.

"Right. Thanks" I shot him a confused glance turning around and rushing out of the great hall with Tom's bread roll still in my hand.

I made it back to the Gryffindor dormitories, where I'd left my satchel. I dug through it and pulled out exactly what I was looking for with a triumphant-probably psychotic-laugh.

I pulled out a thin mobile. A phone, along with a pair of earphones. I grinned. These weren't even allowed at Hogwarts before I time traveled. And even though it will eventually go flat, muggles still have power outlets. I smirk.

I pull out a cord from my satchel, with a giggle. I must protect these things with my life. These very objects probably don't even exist yet. I must not let anyone see them.

Tucking them back into my bag, I tear off a chunk of bread and stuck it into my mouth, chewing as I pull my hair into a simple twisted bun, poking my wand through it as if it were a hair stick.

I sighed, taking off towards the library, I figured that I might as well get a few books for a bit of light reading if I'm not going to be able to use my phone.

I sat in the furthest corner of library, with a couple books stacked to the side on the desk in front of me. One sat open directly in front of me. Advanced Potions Making.
