I left school as soon as the bell rang, the day seemed so long, and tiring, I didn't know how much more I could take. The last thing I did before I was able to leave, was say goodbye to Free. His gold eyes were still as soft as before, in the cafeteria, and his smile was just as bright, still. He offered to walk me home, said he was worried I'd might be jumped or something, but after a couple minuets I was able to convince him, things would be okay, and that there wasn't anything to be worried about. After all, I did just meet him, and even though he seemed so nice, I was more use to walking on my own. Comfort and all, you know. But as I walked home the same way I'd gone this morning, I could feel the cold creeping up on me. Just like it had early that morning. A smile came to my face, as I turned around. Taking in the surroundings, as once again, they froze over with ice, and frost, as sharp as they looked, I was sure Isis was near by me. I let the surroundings turn from warm to cold around me, as I waited for him to come to me. I turned around with the gust of wind brushing past my face, as I felt his presence.
Then with a gasp, there he was. He was staring down at me, his cyan eyes were softened, but only for a second, until they turned concerned then worried.
''Isis? What's the matter?'' I asked him. He didn't say anything, just continued to stare. I backed away from him, taking a few steps backwards, as he looked above me. Staring behind me at something, I was sure I'd missed. ''What do you see?'' I asked him. I continued asking him questions, hoping to hear his voice, for the first time, but every single time I asked him something, he continued to remain silent. It was kind of annoying, for my brain was really pulling on the fact, that I barely knew anything about him. I didn't know what he sounded like, what is real name was, or why the surroundings around me, became icy and cold, when ever he was around? It was like he stopped time? It was like, he was connected to me in some strange way. Some supernatural way, I figured.
Was this enough to take a page out of Twilight book, or no? It seemed oddly acceptable to be the same. Although I was sure Isis wasn't a vampire. No, he wasn't a vampire, if he was, he wouldn't be so comfortable standing so close, like he was. He wasn't a vampire, but something else. Something that had to do with the cold. Winter? Might explain his appearance, and the cold temperatures I always felt when I was close to him. Might even explain why I'm suddenly resembling the same color as him, because he's trying to turn me into whatever he is? I couldn't be sure, but my guess was the only explanation I could get. Seeing as he barely even spoke to me.
''What're you Isis?'' I mumbled. ''You appear here, and around me, but when I see you, truly see you, you don't even speck to me?! You make me fall in love with you, but you refuse to tell me anything about you! I have questions, Isis! I need you to answer..'' I hated myself for exploding at him, but I knew it was good to get that all out. It was true, everything I said was nothing but truth. I was falling in love with him, truly falling for him, every second, of everyday. But the more closer I got, the less he told me. We saw each other three times, and never once, did he open his mouth to explain himself to me. I didn't even know what he was. Or why he looked so blue, and cold. His name wasn't even real, it was a name I created for him.
Isis....
It seemed to work perfectly with his appearance. How could it not?
''Tell me about yourself! Please! I need to understand what's going on, I need to know I'm not imagining you, you make me feel crazy, do you understand that? Do you understand how I feel about you?!'' I shouted, tears suddenly rolled down my cheeks, as I felt his eyes back on me. I felt his fingertips brush against mine, as I slapped it away.
''No! You don't get to do that, you don't get to make me feel things for you, when I barely know what you are!'' I yelled. I could feel his expression fall, as did his eyes, as I turned away from him. My arms crossed tightly against my chest, as I felt his hands rubbing my shoulders. He turned me around, and I didn't even fight him this time. His cool, cold, body, brushed against me, till his arms wrapped around me. Then, before I knew how to react, his lips touched the side of my cheek. It was cold, yet warm at the same time. His presence filled me, as a glimpse of white power came towards me. In seconds, I was thrown away from him, thrown to the payment, as blood rushed down the side of my head. My vision blurred, as I felt arms catch me. Holding me tightly against them, so I wouldn't fall, I felt their hands stroke my wound, catching the blood.
''You didn't have to be so violent!'' A male voice shouted.
''Well, you should've gotten her out of the way, faster!'' Hissed a second male voice. I turned to look behind me, then in front of me. A body stood in front of me, a man, resembled white. White like an angel. The other, behind me, holding me tightly, resembled black. Like a demon. He smiled at me, once he noticed me. But I was quick to turn my attention, to Isis, and the resembled angel, in front of me. They were fighting one another. Isis looked badly hurt, from the blast. He had the same wound as I did, but no blood rushed out of it. Which sent more confusion to wave through me.
I caught Isis's eyes, just before the angel came towards him. Slashing him down at his hip, which caused him pain, but not enough to cause him to cry out. Although, it was enough to make me cry out, when I noticed blood was pouring out a recent wound, that produced in the exact same place he'd been slashed.
''Isis! Stop hurting him!'' I shouted, as I held pressure down on the wound. The resembled demon, pinned, holding onto me, from behind, was confused for a second, when he heard me shout his name, but once he saw the pool of blood forming underneath me, from my failed attempts to keep the pressure, he was quick, and called his friend's attention.
''He did something to her! The bastard connected himself to her, angel!?'' He shouted. The angel turned to stare at him, quickly, as he tried to take one last swing towards Isis. Angrily, he shouted something towards Isis, something I couldn't bare to listen.
''I'll kill you, Kirin! She's my daughter!''
My eyes widened as I pushed myself slowly to my feet, as I did this, the blood dripped down my clothing, dripping to the payment, as the pool underneath my feet grew bigger. I still had the demon holding onto me, but with one hand, he pressed it tightly against my wound. At first I was uncomfortable, and wanted to break away from him, but stopped, when I realized he was trying to help me. He wasn't dangerous, not like I'd thought at first.
''Angel, there's no more time! She'll become one like him, by morning, if we don't hurry!'' He shouted. The man in front of me, turned again, escaping an angered breath, as he made a serious expression at Isis, who was quick to back away from the three of us. Before he left, his soft eyes returned, replacing the concerned expression he'd once had, and entranced me for the second time. My heart was beating so quickly, as tears stained my eyes. Something I now knew, was whatever Isis is, its not good. Although I wasn't going to let that convince me, not until the angel and demon, who was responsible for wounding me in the first place, gave me the answers I seek Not till the man in white, staring at me, with his deep purple eyes, told me the truth......The truth behind his words, when he called Isis, Kirin, and me, his daughter...
