The 6 months later..
Six months have passed since I met those puppies. I wish I could go back to that day and stay in that puppy breath bliss. I wonder if they all sold or if they are still there.
"Ellen, we are leaving for camp. Let's go! " My mom yelled.
" I'm coming" I replied. Obviously she hasn't changed.
Today was Friday. It is the last day of camp. This camp is on the Yorktown ; a ship in our harbor; although I love this camp I am in I can wait for this weekend. I am going to go back the the house with the puppies....

I wake up to the sun glaring in my eyes. I really should have closed the blinds. Story of my life, but not today. I'm going back to see the puppies. God willing they're still there. I felt something there, a connection. A connection between two old friends longing to be reunited. Which was rattling as I had never meet any of the people I had acquainted with that day.

"Mom, I'm headed out."

"Where are you going?" She replied.

"To the park" I answered.

I rushed to garage and pulled my bike out before she could say anything else.
As I rode my bike I thought what I would say. The closer I got the more I realized it was pointless. I subsequently when to the park there house backed up to. As is turns out the children I had meet that day were outside playing. They invited me inside the fence and I complied.
