You have a day off from work so you decide to chill at your favorite cafe
As you walk in, you smell coffee and pastries lingering in the air
You sigh in content to yourself as you get in line to order
You place your order and greet the owners as you've now formed some sort of bond with them and the employees by how often you come in here
as you're walking to a free table to wait, you hear someone call your name
"Y/n?" you turn your head and see your old college professor and smile, you used to love hearing his accent everyday in college
"Professor Hiddleston!, hey" you say stopping at his table
"you haven't been my student for nearly 2 years, call me Tom" he smiles adjusting his glasses to which you nod,
"please, sit" he gestures to the open seat across from him and you take a seat
"so what've you been up to since graduating?" He asks taking a sip of his tea
"Well I'm a junior journalist for vogue now" you say twiddling your fingers
"y/n that's amazing, I always knew you were meant for great things" he said chuckling slightly
you nod "yeah, it's been taking a lot of time, today is one of my off days, so I usually come here to chill" you shrug
"well, other than you're amazing job any writing?" His eyes drift over your body

"yea actually, I'm almost finished with the book I started first year of college" you smile excitedly talking about your passion
"I can't wait to read it. You always were my favorite student y/n, you were always so engaged in what I was teaching and passionate about your writing." He tells you making you blush
