Sky's POV:

Even after all of the heroics and acts of valor, I could never shake the guilt of where my actions led. I have confronted Zelda about this many times. She would always say, "If you never will ever know, there is no point in worrying about it."

But now I do know. As I looked up in each of their faces individually- I saw horrific scars and sunken eyes, worry lines no normal boy would possess. I saw their souls looking at me and their confusion. They were like this because of me. And I could not on not bear it.

I wanted to run away back into Zelda's arms and cry. Hide. Be anywhere but here, all eyes on me.

"So you're telling me that youre. How should I say this? Like our patron?" The boy in the red tunic asked.

"Yes- and no" I tried to find the right words without talking about the cures- I've memorized the lines and frequently replay them in my mind, but cant bring words to form. "I am the first to possess the spirit of the hero. That is why I am referred to as The Chosen. You all possess some of my spirit in you- witch- just by observing, I can tell that soul fragment has an impact on your looks and attributes."

They all examined each other again.

"Your observations seem on point and I believe we all felt that pull, earlier, towards the sword." The big one and armor spoke. "I acknowledge who you are, but what does that make us?"

I pondered his words, but before I could speak, one of the children amongst us spoke. "Listen, I could care less about who's what, and all that. I just want to know why we are all here now." He crossed his arm over his lobster shirt looking at me for an answer.

Everyone looked at me again. Like I WOULD KNOW! Hylia, I should have introduced myself as some wannabe Link instead of the Chosen. Im so stupid.

The big man thankfully answered before I could. He was obviously the Veteran type of leader- made me wonder if he would make us do pushups on the spot while he blew a whistle and called us dogs.

"I believe its safe to say none of us know what is truly going on here." I nodded in confirmation of his words. "Whats important to note is that we Links are here and form the look of it, for a reason."

"Or Hylia is messing with us again." The one with the Grey pelt said with a twangy accent in his voice.

The big man gave him a not helping look and continued. Their interaction made me wonder if they knew each other- I brushed it off.

"The sun is still above us, but as long as we are in the dense forest it leaves us without light in about an hour. Without any related knowledge of when the next big clearing or exit will be... I say we camp here." He looked around for any protest.

I saw some nods and affirmative sures. I had a feeling my role of being looked up to was, thankfully, cut short.

It took hardly any time before a camp was set up. We were all swept off our feet in between traveling or exploring, due to that we all came here prepared for the outdoors. Packs and enough food to last us each few days.

As we laid out our bedrolls (They laid them out by the people they fell with EX: Sky next to Legend) I heard some stomachs growling for food.

It was only around Three pm, but the sun was hardly visible. Our external clocks must have mistaken this for dinner time.

A man with a blue scarf asks the small Hylian in the green tunic if he knew how to cook a meal.

"Me? Well sure I do. But if you end up not being able to move from food poisoning tomorrow, dont come crying to me."
