Fours POV:
We Spit up then we spit up again. As the village turned out to be just the outskirts. Twilight and I ended up drifting off together while War and Legend went off together. I hoped they did burn this down to the ground in the process. Those two definitely were the type to get their way. Twilight and I were in the middle of a conversation with a local.
So no sort of big pig face or existential crises? I clarified.
Nope, well in the legends of course we have ancient stories like that, the whole Triforce shebang. But that was ages ago. We haven't even had a famine in years. Said the old townsman.
Thank you for your time. Said Twilight walking off. I caught up with him. I guess one or few of us are reduced to nothing more than a nursery rhyme now. He said it with a bitter tongue.
Isnt that a good thing?
He looked around. Of course it is, I wish nothing more than this from my time. But not knowing where their placement means that disaster could be crashing on them very soon. And they don't look a tad bit prepared. His twangy voice filled my ears. It took all of the little mannerism I possessed not to point it out.
What do you make of this Four? I found it weird that he was asking for my opinion.
I talked to War earlier, he said that it is mostly dark magic. And it is used to form gates. At least that means there is no way its a Dark Mirror.
What do you mean, Twilight said with true intent.
Oh, Dark Mirrors is where Dark Magic tribes are sealed away. They are like a sort of looking glass to the darker parts of the world. Like a third eye.
I see, Said Twilight in a distant voice.
Mirrors arent used for that.
Right.
And Im not that familiar with dark magic.
Mhmm
Just magic, magic.
Yah
Twi and you okay?
He raised his gaze from the floor to look at me. Yes sorry, He said, running his hand through his hair. Just a lot on my mind. Lots to have myself sort through.
I thought about that. I knew what he meant, probably better than anyone. I too had lots to sort also. Battles in my mind and heart. Hyrules potion helped, but it felt weird to not always have some sort of other thoughts in your head. Thoughts that arent necessarily mine. Its lonely. I wonder when its effects will wear off.
Whenever I feel that way, I just try to remember where I want to go. Destiny has a path for both of us. But in order to move forward, you need to look back. Look back and face yourself. You are your number one enemy. I placed a hand on my tunic stitches. I gassed at the colors. They are a part of me. I shouldnt run from it. Their destiny is sewn into mine.
I cant argue against that. He said with a sly smile.
I was happy I could help him in any way. He usually seemed lost in thought and on the verge of drifting too far. He was the leader type, he just needed to sort some of his own things out before he got into it like Time.
Well, let us go find War and Time, assuming they didnt end up in jail for public disturbance.
Four agreed and they were off.

Despite not knowing each other for very long, its easy to pick up on each others nitpicks because of their observational skills- and because its obvious. XD
