The Engineers App

Suhail was a mechanical engineering student currently in his 1st year.

He didn't like engineering in particular and only took it because the people around him told him it would give a good salary. With confusion and no clear idea of what to do next, Suhail took up engineering as a safe option in his mind.

He regretted the decision he took. The subjects were boring and the teachers who taught them put him easily to sleep. He wished he had taken commerce, he even told his parents of the idea,
but they rejected it and now he was forced to complete engineering.

The other thing that made him angry was that the teachers would first teach the portion and only after that would they send pdf notes in the WhatsApp groups.
Most teachers did like that and very rarely you could get the notes way earlier than the exams.

Teachers were used to sending notes at the last moment when in fact he needed them a long time ago to study to at least pass the subjects. As he didn't or couldn't pay attention to the teacher in class, he needed the pdf notes but they were always given late.

He somehow managed to pass the first semester and wasn't thrilled to repeat the same experience in his 2nd semester as well.

Suhail took initiative and approached some seniors in the college and they luckily had the pdf notes saved in their phone and forwarded him a copy. Now he had no tension and no matter how horrible the teachers taught, he could manage with the notes.

He began to slowly notice that it was not only him, but many other people in his college faced the same issue.
"If only there was a guide with all the portions and syllabus content", he thought.

Suddenly a bulb lit up in his mind and he had the idea of making an app that had the engineering notes of the college as well as syllabus and credit mentioned for each subject.
The online college website had no information regarding subject notes and students were advised to use an education portal that had notes for all subjects.

The problem was that the website was complicated to use, the notes had too much information and people needed only the information to study for their college exams. The alternative was to visit the library, find the prescribed textbook and start studying. This was somewhat feasible, but the problem with books was there are very few copies in the library and you can't visit the library at the last inconvenient moment to get notes.

Suhail was feeling elevated, he knew he was onto something. But sadly he couldn't make an app and he felt no one from the college or even his own parents for that matter would support him.

Just when he was about to admit defeat he saw a bunch of computer science students walking around the campus. The bulb in his brain lit up again, he may not be able to make the app but he could get someone to make it for him.

Thankfully he had a few friends from that department and asked around if they could help him build an app. They replied no and regretfully said, "We're not that capable yet, but there is a CS guy named Omkar staying in the hostel. He and his group are into that stuff and apparently, they even built a few apps ."

With that knowledge, Suhail got Omkars number from his friend and ringed him up.
Omkar picked up asking," Who is this?".

Suhail then introduced himself and told him he needed his help to build an app.

"If possible can you meet me in the canteen at 4?'', asked Suhail.

Omkar agreed and Suhail waited excitedly for 4 o clock to come.
The time finally arrived and he dashed out of the class and reached the canteen. He stood there looking around when someone tapped his shoulder from behind.
