Normally, Carmen hated the mornings, but waking up next to the hottest person ever, definitely made getting up a lot better. The only downside was morning breath. Movies never showed that type of stuff. So, as her eyes slowly opened that morning, she hurriedly ran into the washroom and grabbed her toothbrush. Putting the minty substance on the brush, she starts scrubbing as hard as she could, not caring if they bled.
Since it was the next day, that meant the battle was coming where they have to go and save Obi-Wan. Which honestly sucked for Carmen. As much as she loved the older man, she didn't have any combat skills. Maybe she could just swing the lightsaber like a bat? That definitely wouldn't work and it'll look ridiculous, but oh well.
After spitting out the toothpaste, Carmen wipes her mouth with a washcloth and makes her way into the kitchen where she is greeted by Shmi along with Padmé and her boyfriend, Ragwynd. They were discussing something as she walked in and had went quiet after her feet had made sound in the room, notifying them she'd woken up.
"Good morning, Carmen. How'd you sleep?" Shmi smiled, probably thinking she and her son had done the nasty.
Carmen grabbed some blue milk out of the thing that was similar to a refrigerator. "I slept surprisingly well."
Padmé smirked from where she sat upon Ragwynd's lap, "That's because you slept alongside Anakin. How was it?"
Seeing the two of them be a couple in front of the others of the household made Carmen smile. They weren't afraid the others would say anything and it made her heart practically swoon at the two in happiness.
The blonde took a seat near the others and rolled her eyes, "That's none of your business, Miss Know-It-All." Apparently, Cliegg and the other two were outside working on their small farm.
"I am just glad that you're happy. I could see the glow radiating off of you. And I can't wait for the wedding." Shmi mumbled the last part, hoping no one had heard, but Carmen did since they were pretty close to each other in the seats.
The blonde decided not to comment on it. As much as she would love to marry him, she didn't know what the future held for her. Hopefully she makes it out alive, but you never know with this universe.
The sound of sand is heard and they look over to see Anakin walk in. He immediately goes over towards the main part of the kitchen and grabs something to drink. It was his favorite. "Good morning, everyone." He walks up the steps to where they're at, a huge smile on his face as he walks towards Carmen, sitting on the other side of her.
