She looked at him worried as she gripped his hand in hers,
"Jay, is this such a good idea?"
She asks as she watches the world speed by. He furrowed his brow and rubbed the top of her hand with his thumb,
"Puff, if you want to stay with me, this is our only idea."
He glanced her over again, she was only seventeen, not even out of high-school yet. Her wool was a pastel rainbow and it framed her white furred face, her dark black eyes were covered with worry, her long floppy ears and tiny nose twitches as he continues,
"Your mom's want you to marry some Captain, not a nobody like me, hell it may not even be a sheep or ram! Is that really what you want babe?"
He grips her hand tighter, to the point of it hurts her
"Cause I will turn this damn car around right now if you actually want that pathetic life."
Puffy was scared of Shlatt when he got like this, but he was right, her mother's would force her to marry that old captain back at the bay, Shlatt scared her but she loved him nonetheless, and she would follow him to the ends of the earth. She took a deep inhale and brushed his hand with her other.
"I don't want that, I want you Jay."
"Fucking good, that's a long ass way back."
He drived faster, the speedometer passed sixty miles per hour, the legal speed through here was only forty miles per hour. Puffy closed her eyes and prayed to XD to keep her and her newlywed husband safe from whatever may happen soon.
