thoughts —————— togami was walking around a random hallway as usual, while the others met up at the dining hall. he guessed they would be discussing last nights events regarding sayaka, junko and leon, then they would most likely go exploring the next floor. if you insist on knowing monokuma had payed the heir a visited only a few minutes prior to tell him to quote on quote: "get his ass up and get exploring or i'll make ya do it myself!!" but byakuya could do that in a few minutes as he wishes to go alone, without any disruptions-
"BYAKUYA!" a voice called from the other end of the hall snapping the heir from his daze. kiyotaka. "meet in the hall now we are not exploring alone, i wont alow it!" the purple haired continued.
so much for no distractions the blonde boy thought, as he sped up to leave. there was no point arguing as- like last time they all met up - taka would drag him there anyway. so the other man led byakuya down the hall to the dining room as if byakuya were some lost puppy.

when they arrived at the dining hall the other participants were all sat around the biggest table discussing some unknown topic. "oh hey togamichi!" yasuhiro yelled across the room causing all the heads to turn to him. it would have been fine but with this many people watching him made him a tiny bit uncomfortable, maybe i should show up to breakfast more often then i won't feel as uncomfortable. "so we need to discuss partners for exploring!" taka started first, eyes on him now. "so then shall i will pick the partners?" kyoko started. taka and few others nodded and she continued. "ok so... taka go with mondo as we need you to keep and eye on him, hifumi and makoto for the same reasons, aoi and sakura as you get along pretty well.." kyoko paused for a moment to think, the already mentioned getting into pairs. not daring to argue. "so i will go with celeste, that was a random pick, yasuhiro you will be with toko as she cant be with togami and you and togami probably wont get along to well, so last but not least byakuya and chihiro." kyoko finished and got up to walk over to celeste. at least it isn't the stalker or the himbo, but seriously chihiro of all people? she is scared of me for heavens sake! togami thought walking over to the petite girl. he had a suspicion about the girls true gender but he left it, he didn't want to be a pushover. "ready to go togami?" chihiro said quietly looking at the floor. the heir nodded and began walking to the stairs, the small girl followed clumsily. ———— they were upstairs exploring the library, silent, though surprisingly not uncomfortable so they stayed silent. byakuya would usually throw insults but if he was honest he had a lot on his mind. he wanted to tell someone, really, but he didn't trust many and other didn't trust him. i wanna tell someone but its not like i can pursue it anyway my father would genuinely murder me, without a thought he really would- "hey are you.. ok?" chihiro asked and snapped byakuya out of his daze. "huh? uh.. oh i'm fine.." he replied, a little shocked and letting his guard down accidentally. am i really that bad and disguising my thoughts and feeling. "well just so you know i am here for you. i may be small and shy but i will always be here if you need to talk." the girl said again with what seemed to be real kindness while checking the books on the shelves. it made the heir feel comfortable. he sat down in one of the chairs in the library the confused girl following suit. "sooo..?" fujisaki started. "if i tell you a big secret will you tell me whats wrong?" she stared at him with a smile but also a hint of worry. "i guess so but.. how can i trust you to jot tell anyone? it is rather.. private." togami replied slowly. "i swear on my life i will never tell anyone if it means that much to you! also don't tell anyone mine please..?" chihiro said enthusiastically at first. the blonde boy replied with a nod.
"ok so..." chihiro began. "um i am.. well. this is hard to say. i'm sorry!" she apologised quickly for her shyness. "its fine.. go on." the heir said in an almost caring tone, that didn't go unheard buy the girl. "well i'm not really a girl... i i was born a boy. though i personally want to be non binary..." chihiro stared at the ground anxiously before stealing a peak at togami. his expression was unreadable. "well... i will talk about or to you via they them pronouns from now on... if that is what you please.." byakuya told the petite person sat by them. chihiro was shocked by the amount of expectance and slowly smiled wide. "thank you togami! but why were you so scared or anxious or sad earlier? or whatever the feeling was." they were so happy and turned to togami. "if i'm gonna be honest after hearing what you said, i am a little happier and it has made it feel easier to tell you now." fujisaki's smile turned to confusion and they cocked their head to the side. "i was raises in a very strict house hold, stuff like suits and bowing, speech and tie, stuff like that. i was never aloud to wear what i wanted to and if i am honest what i wanted to wear was always dresses and skirts or shorts.. i would never do it at home but being stuck in here my father isn't around so i wanted to start.. wearing them..." byakuya trailed of as chihiro's smile widened and they jumped up from their seat. "OOH!! yes! i will help you get the clothes!! i was supplied with skirts and dresses after all." chihiro was radiating happiness of of them selves. "oh uh... that is if you want to show the others..?" they went back to their timid self, looking at byakuya. he responded with a slow unsure nod. that lifted chihiro's mood again and they began dragging him to the dining hall. "huh-?! where are we going fujusaki?" byakuya asked in a more friendly tone then the earlier conversation. "to the dining hall so we can get those clothes as soon as possible, and tell the others in advance!" they replied and began dragging him to the dining hall. ————
