and went down stairs to eat breakfast. I grabbed an apple and walked out the door with Trish, went to go get Kim and went to school. Once we got to our lockers me and Kim started making plans for Formal night.
"How about we have a little after party at your house with the 'gang'?" Kim asked
"Oh my gosh! That's a great idea Kim! I'll tell Linda about it after school." I said
"Okay, do you have a dress yet?" Kim asked
"No, Jack doesn't even know that I'm planning to wear pink." I said
"Speaking of Jack, you guys havn't talked in a month. Are you sure that he's still your date?" she asked
"No, actually." I said slowly.
"Speak of the devil. He's walking over here. Good luck." she said as she walked away
"Hey." he looked like something was bothering him.
"Hey Jack."
"Um... I found a different way to make it up to you." he said
"You want to go to the dance with someone else don't you?" I asked
"It's not that I want to, it's that I have to. It's so tat Jerry can get the girl that he wants. I found another way to make it up to you though. I'll give it to you at the dance." he said
"Okay, that's fine." I said, kind of disappointed.
"You sure?" he asked. At least he cares about how I feel.
"Yeah, I'm positive." I said with a fake smile.
"Okay. Well then, I'll see you around." he said as he walked away.
"Yeah, see ya." I said.
As I texted Kim the news, a really hot football player walked up to me.
"Well, hello beautiful" he said. I turned to look at him
"Hi." I said
"I couldn't help but notice that your date bailed on you." He said
"Yeah?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah, my date broke up with me, then she bailed too. Do you mind going with me?" he asked
"Okay but only because it's last minute, and I'm not going to kiss you at the dance. Unless I like your personality." I said
"Okay, I'm guessing your dress is pink?" he asked
"Yeah" I said
"Okay, then I'll make sure I match." he said as he walked away with a cute sly smile.
