Chapter 1

"Come on, Naomi. You can't lay in this bed for the rest of your life." Ryan says.

"Yes I can." I say.

"Look it's been 2 weeks, since you and Daniel broke up." Zendaya says as she pulls the covers off of me.

Me and my long time boyfriend,Daniel, broke up not too long ago. We were always on and off, but this time we officially broke it off. We weren't good for each other. Well, more like he wasn't good for me. He was toxic, he would constantly cheat, he would get jealous if I even looked at a guy.

I had officially broke it off with him when we had an intense argument. It got so intense that he had hit me, and there was no way I could stay after that. That was the last straw.

I know I shouldn't be depressed over a guy who's poison for me, but I just couldn't forget about him. A guy you've been dating for a long time, isn't someone you can just forget about.

"You need to get out the house, Naomi." Coco says.

"I'm not moving from this bed." I say.

"C'mon lets go have some fun tonight. They finally opened that new club, and guess what the girls get to go for free." Z says as she tries to sound convincing.

"Nah, I'm good. I rather stay home and stuff my face with junk food and watch Netflix." I say with my face stuffed in my pillow.

"Well you have to come out some day. When's the last time you took a shower?" Ryan says as she scrunches up her face.

"When did me and Jayden break up?" I say.

"2 WEEKS, NAOMI?!" They all say at the same time.

"Uh uh this is ridiculous." Coco says as she takes the pillow from head and throws it on the ground. "Look I know this is sad, but you have to move on, take your mind off of it. You sleeping, eating, and NOT SHOWERING won't help." Coco says with a frustrated tone.

I still lay there, not giving a care in the world about what she just said.

Z, Ryan, and Coco all drag me out the bed while covering there noses with their shirts.

"Look, we are going out tonight. So you have about 2 hours to get ready, so go shower, throw some makeup on your face and put on the sexiest dress you have." Ryan says.

As Ryan is done with her lecture, my loud sister, Keke comes through the door yelling.

"HOWS MY SISTER DOING?!" Keke says yelling, while walking through the door.

"Your sister here hasn't showered in 2 weeks and stays in bed all day eating nothing but junk food." Z says.

"And we're going to the new club tonight, but she doesn't wanna come." Coco says.

"Naomi, get yo ass up in that shower. You stink." Keke says as she pinches her nose.

I drag my body to the bathroom and strip naked, getting into the shower. I'm not even gonna lie, this shower felt great. The hot water hitting my body. I get out the shower and dry my body. I open my bathroom door to see Z, Ryan, Coco, and Keke still standing outside my bathroom door.

"Mhm." Keke says.

And they all walk away.

I start to do my makeup. I didn't do anything to extreme but a little smokey eye look with a simple black silk dress that sits on my body.

The girls were all ready too. We all grabbed our bags and went into Ryan's car. Ryan began driving to the club and the line was packed. But luckily, the woman got to go straight in for free.

We entered the club and the music was blasting, bodies were sweating, people were lowkey tipsy, people were making out, people were dancing. The girls were making their way into the crowd and I lost them. I tried texting them, but obviously, no signal. So I went to the bar.

"Hey, what would you like pretty lady." The bartender asks as he smiles at me.

"I would like a martini." I say, smiling back. The bartender starts making the drink and hands it to me. "Thank you." I say. "No problem, pretty lady." The bartender grins at me.

As I'm drinking my martini, this fine, dark man with nice looking skin and pearly white teeth came up to me.

"So what's a sexy lady like you doing all alone?" The chocolate man says to me, with his pearly white teeth blinding me.

"Well I came here with my friends, but I lost them, so..." I say, while smiling and drinking my martini.

"Well, you got me now." The man says, smiling again. I don't even say anything, I just laugh and smirk with him.

"What's your name?" I ask yelling over the loud music.

"Luke. What's yours?" He says yelling over the loud music.

"Naomi." I say.

"Well its nice to meet you, Naomi." Luke says, while shaking my hands.

"Its nice to meet you too, Luke." I say, shaking his hands back.

"So who are you here with?" I ask.

"Some friends." He replies.

"So Mr. Luke, do you have a girlfriend... or boyfriend? I ask.

"No. I'm solo." He said while smirking at me. "Do you want to go dance?" He asked me.

"Yes." I replied to him.

I put my drink down, along with my clutch. And went to the dance floor. I began dancing to the music. Me and Luke were moving in sync with the song.

I was having an amazing time with him on the dance floor. Luke was very in sync with the music. I really needed this to get my mind off of Daniel.

A few minutes turned to a couple of hours. We had a bunch of drinks and laughable moments. I felt my phone buzzing through my clutch and I opened it.

Z: Naomi, where are you?

Ryan: Yeah, where are you?

Naomi: I'm talking to this guy.

Coco: Well tell the guy goodbye. We about to leave.

Naomi: I'm just gonna get him to drop me off home.

Keke: You don't even know this guy.

Naomi: I'll just share my location with y'all.

Z: Well be safe. Make sure you call us.

Me and Luke were wasted. The entire time he was touching and rubbing up on me. We both threw each other a smirk and left the club. We walked out and got a taxi to his apartment. We had got to his apartment and began to make out. One thing led to another and I woke up in his bed the next morning, naked.
