JJ Maybank. How to describe him? The pogue who people considered the biggest flirt in the cut. His eyes sure could be hypnotizing to the point were you could leave this world and the next and still the only thing you could think about were his eyes. She could let herself go in his flood, spend the rest of her days thinking about the beauty of them. In truth everytime they shared an intense gaze and he would give her the biggest smirk, she could feel as if drowning and that made her want to slap him. She couldn't fall for a boy like him, a boy that wouldn't want nothing but sex and ecstasy. Because after he'd trap her in his poison, make her beg to reach that state of euphoria with his arms holding her tight, making her think she was this goddess that had him at her mercy as he whispered sweet nothings to her ear,.... he's touch would fade away, leave her there feeling unwanted, her lonely heavy breaths echoing through the room without him by her side after it. That's what happens after you fall onto earth again and realise that the drug you took stoped making you feel all of it. Take you from your bottom, to your wildest dreams only to drop you abruptly on the harsh reality again. She decided that in serendipity she would find her lover, not chase after boys that would break her heart.

But that were only her thoughts, her perspective.

Oh her, to him she was all and more. To him she was Aphrodite herself, descended from Olympian to terrorise his love arrows. She was everything that he ever wanted and everything he couldn't have. That's why he sold his body to others, so they could make him reach the peak of bliss. But they weren't her, and although he tried to capture her in his net he couldn't, she'd always push him away. He knew he wasn't much of a greek god descended upon the greatest mountain in Greece like her, but he'd always wonder if one day by miracle she'd gave in to his charm, if she would give up of that nymph play of hers and surrender to his arms forever. Yes a nymph, that was the best word he could think to describe her, she'd steal his heart, tease him in her sweet dance and when he thought he had a grasp on her, she wouldn't be there anymore. Like a spark of fire that you would focus your eyes on but as soon as she went high enough you wouldn't see her again.

He chased her for a longing touch. She escaped from a gaze of his, because if she stared long enough she'd be his.

They were like the sun and the moon, always running, never a contact in the smallest of blues, until one day when an eclipse decided to perhaps set on the sky.

She dragged her feet down the next isle of food buying the groceries her mother had asked for, at least the temperature on the store wasn't burning her skin like the sun did outside. Her hands roomed through the condiments shelve, a search for ketchup bored her, how come didn't a store own a simple bottle of ketchup? She sighted in annoyance and as her day couldn't get worse than it already was she heard the only voice that could make her head spin in only a word. JJ, entering the store in heavy breathing, soon disguised in a nervous 'good afternoon' as for the lady behind the counter was looking him suspiciously. She saw a tip of his familiar blonde hair peaking through the end of the isle, familiar as in seen many times, not familiar in a sense of rooming her hands through it like she'd dreamed about at times.

"What are you doing here JJ, stealing my store?" the woman asked in a raised eyebrow.

"No, no, no" he scoffed, walking slowly around the store. She could sense the sole of his boot hiting the ground as his figure appeared clearer in her sight and she quickly turned around to avoid being seen. Unfortunately for her she got caught in his trouble "I was just..." his eyes looked around the room, searching for something that would make a believable lie come out "-looking for my girl, here she is" he said in certainty, amaze on her face as he came up with a lie that quickly. He winked at her as of 'please don't give up the play' placing an arm around her shoulder as he cheekly smirked at the lady in charge. Somehow she agreed to his pleadings, not sure why tho, probably his mesmerising eyes that locked on hers and suddenly no arguments could leave her mouth. She still could see how the woman was reticent in believing him, but the girl hadn't protested so the boy ended up being forgotten as she continued to store whatever she had in her hands in the shelves behind her.
