A/N - I'm sorry yes this is another angst, this is based on a youtube comment i read a while ago :)
You woke up earlier than hyunjin , as usual. Every time you had a sleepover you always woke up hours before he did. For years you had loved him , but it was getting hard to keep it a secret. You knew he wouldn't remember if you quickly told him if you woke him up, told him and knew he would fall back asleep. So you politely woke her up and told her. You knew there was nothing you could do if he returned your feelings, but it had grown too much to hide
. At least for now. he replied with "oh...uh cool." Obviously trying to be nice. he went to sleep afterwards. Now you prayed he would think that this was a dream. You figured he wouldn't return the feelings.
A few hours later he wakes up.
he seemed to have forgotten that you had woken her up, which was good. It wouldn't ruin the friendship. Months go by, never talking about what had been said.You ponder on that moment frequently.Was he just letting me down lightly due to the circumstances or does he not return my feelings?
That question repeating almost every time.Even after this, your feelings grow even more for hyunjin . You promise yourself to tell her in 4 years that you love him.
But that was months ago. Now, you're loosing hope. he continues to fall for new people and talk about his past relationship with .Naturally, it made you jealous, but you didn't show it a single bit. You just continued to listen and support him.
Whether he remembers what you said or not, will remain a mystery for possibly forever.But now she starts ignoring you. Going online and doing other things, ignoring all of your text messages for 8 hours until something happens in his life.
It hurt. Will the wait be worth it? What if he rejects you after 4 years of waiting? What then?Maybe...
maybe it is time...
Time to give up.
