DAWN

The sun danced on my eyelids making swirls of orange and purple. I opened my eyes to the dark wood coffee table and relived the events that happened the night before.

The fire between my legs started to burn again and I felt a flush rise up my neck to my face. I wanted to see Vinny flustered like how I felt right now just thinking about his hands on me.

The loud echo of thumping and falling echoed down through the kitchen floorboards reminding me that Vinnys family was awake and Jen was making breakfast. I had to think about them before I made any stupid decisions.

I grabbed a folded shirt of Vinny's from the dresser drawer and threw it over my pajamas. There wasn't anything wrong with what I had saved from sleepovers before, but the gym shorts and tank top felt far too exposed for what I was feeling boil inside me.

The boisterous energy coming from beyond the basement entrance cut away at the thick fog of hormones that was clouding me. Vince had left the door open and I could feel eyes on me as I walked up the stairs into the kitchen. Jen gave warm greeting as she snapped at the girls to sit down at the table. Vince continued to watch me like prey the entire time I walked over to the kitchen bar.

Jen had the kitchen remodeled for her cooking habits. The marble island had a bar with very comfortable stools made with white leather and a seperate sink and stove. The kitchen had huge counterspace and another gas stove and farm style sink muzzled against a garden window filled with herbs, peppers and small tomatoes. The black counters reflexed small fragments making them look like the night sky and they complimented the white frosted cabinets.

Truly a kitchen to admire. Whilst I was absorbed looking at the new kitchen for a second time, Vinny still had eyes locked onto me. The heat that rose from my core to my throat had my body hot and made me twitch. I knew he was trying to undress me in front of his family. He wasn't even trying to hide it. The heat reached my face enough to cause a deep blush forcing Jen to notice.

"Honey bear, are you feeling alright?" she pressed her cold hand on my forehead sending a wave of reality back into me. "You're as red as a tomato and your burning up."

I grabbed Jens hand and gently removed it from my forehead. "Yeah, I'm sorry I just remembered something embarrassing from yesterday." I laughed forcibly still feeling Vinny's eyes on me but less aggressively now.

"I'll set the table. Lisa, Maria go change for school the food will be ready when you get back down." Vince said with an odd amount of dominance in his voice.

Vince left the bar and grabbed the stack of plates on the counter and started setting the table. Jen handed me silverware and motioned for me to join Vince.

The dinning room was open and the morning light danced through the maple tree leaves outside the large French windows. I entered the threshold of the room to be enveloped by Vinny's lingering cologne from yesterday and the thick fog that he was brewing over himself.

I shuffled around the table placing the silverware in their respective homes while keeping a steady eye on Vince.

His hair was still tussle and crimped from him pillow, but his nightshirt clung to him with crisp lines licked across his torso as he moved. He was still the strong young man I had known for years, but now all I wanted was to see him be vulnerable again. Vulnerable to me and only me.

"Are you gonna keep undressing me or are you going to actually help get breakfast ready." he said having looked at me for the first time since we were alone.

"Fucker, I know you were watching come up those stairs like I was the last glass of water on earth." I retorted putting the last fork down.

Vinny chuckled. "I was just watching the fruit on your chest bounce." he said before leaving the dinning room and heading down to the basement.

I touched my breasts gently.

"Fruits?"
