In the dark

Dre's POV
Drew Goodwin had taken Danny out for lunch because Danny had seemed so depressed ever since he randomly went missing then came back. They sat in a fish in chip shop in Manchester. Danny was on tour for his music and had asked Drew to go with him for emotional support.
"Here have some more vinegar for your chips" Drew passed the squeezy bottle to Danny. Danny just sat there staring. It freaked Drew out a bit at first when he did that but now after a month of touring he had gotten used to those giant blue eyes staring blankly into nothing.
"They are greasy" Danny said and he put his chips in the bin and walked away.
There was a reason why Drew was looking after Danny so extreme however. He felt guilty.
About 3 week ago an assistent from the tour had passed Drew a note while Danny was busy singing on stage asking him to pass it to Danny after the show. He knew it was wrong but he read it anyway and it said:
Dear beloved Dan, I am sorry for leave you but you know it was what was best to keep u out of danger because I love you. U are the moon in my heart and flowers flutter with butterflies because I want to kiss you so much... anyway if you still love me I have found the villen behind the attacks and I need ur help. Let's face it together, if u still love me then meet me in Venice on the Rialto bridge in 3 day. Xoxo, your Zayn.
Drew did not think Xayn was good for Danny though. He wanted Danny to forget Xayn and move on and stay out of danger so he burned the letter and then put the ashes into a box then chained the box with a padlock then buried the box. The guilt from keeping Dany in the dark about Xayn had made him go nuts since then, he even started smoking and gambling.
Shortly after getting the letter Drew realise he might actually be in love with Danny.

Zayn's POV
Zayn knew that there was a chance that Danny would not love him anymore but each hour he stood on the bridge waiting for him broke his hart more and more and more and more. He waited on bridge for 2 days, sleeping in a sleeping bag. after waiting all that time Zayn heart had broken so much it was gone anf Zayn vowed never to love again.
It is alright. I can take down the villen by.myself. Fuck love Zayn thought to himself bitterly.
