   Today is my and Light's second anniversary. Getting gift wasn't easy at all. I know him well and I know that all he wants, all he NEEDS is the power as God of new world. I obviously couldn't give him that, doesn't matter how hard I would try. Not wanting to give him fucking socks I made a reservation at some fancy restaurant. All girls were bragging about how romantic it was and everything. I really hope he'll like it...
   A few days before I told him about my plans on taking him on a date, so he wouldn't have other plans. I love surprises, but it would be awkward if he was hanging out with someone or promised to help his sister study. I planned everything perfectly, at least I hope so. I thought about it a lot and I think that after those two years I'm ready. I wanted to keep myself for someone special. I believe that Light is that special someone. Also I believe that universe gave me a sign that this is the best time, because since when Nana, the only person I live with, decides to visit someone on the other end of Japan and spend there night right when we have anniversary? It all just happened too perfectly.
"I hope Ryuk won't be there..." I whisper to myself looking in the mirror. I got this outfit so long ago and never got the chance to actually wear it. Fortunately I didn't grow out of it. I checked my hair once again before I decided I'm ready. I still have some time.
   After some finishing touches, my bedroom was done. I decided on typical scenery, rose petals on the floor and my bed, closet curtains, red vine and two vine glasses on my bedside table. I would add candles, but when we're back from restaurant we would see only some melted wax, if the house wouldn't be on fire...
   And I am ready. A little bit nervous, but ready, I just have to put on some shoes, jacket and take my purse. I really hope I won't fuck up anything. With that on my mind I take shoes that are matched with my outfit and put them on. As I were to grab my purse my door ring sounded. I threw my jacket on and opened door to see my beautiful boyfriend. I smiled seeing him. He looked me up and down without saying a word.
"Hi." I say adoring the fact that he was speechless.
"Wow. You look stunning." He says taking my hands in his.
"You look pretty handsome yourself." I kiss his check like I always do. I lock door, put key in my purse and turn back to Light.
"Alright. Let's go." I'm so excited that I can't describe it with words. He gently grabs my hand and we go to the restaurant which isn't long way from my house.
   We made it here in a couple of minutes talking and laughing. I loved that I could be totally honest with him and he wouldn't get mad at me just because I had different opinions. Also we could talk for hours everyday and still somehow didn't lack topics. Every minute spend with him made me so happy. Light could make my day better by just smiling at me.
   We arrived at restaurant and got our table. The place is a little bit dark with candles on every table. The quiet music playing, smell of flowers and delicious food filled the room. I really couldn't decide what to order, everything just sounded soo good.
"You can't decide?" Light smiled seeing me looking through menu for the fifth time.
"As you can see..." I said sadly. "If I could I would eat everything here." He chuckles and reaches for my hand.
"Don't think about it too much. I'm sure whatever you pick, you'll be happy."
"I'm happy just to be here... With you." I say looking him in the eyes. His beautiful brown eyes...
"You're so cute." He brushes back of my hand with his thumb.
   After a few seconds of gazing into his eyes, or minutes? It could be hours and I'd love to do it for days.
"Can I take your order?" I hear a mans voice and look up. He's standing with formal smile and notebook in his hand.
"Yes, of course." I say and feel Lights eyes on me. He probably decides whether wait for me to order first, as a gentleman he is or order first giving me a couple of seconds to decide what I want.
"I'd like..." He starts. Thank you. I just need to see how this thing is called.
   We order our food and wait for it. I'm so curious about this, I've never seen something called like that. We talk about everything and nothing. For me we could just sit there in silence and I still would enjoy every second.
"And then she told me, I was wearing it wrong the whole day. She told me that at the end of school. I WAS WEARING IT WRONG THE WHOLE TIME."I complain laughing quietly.
"Week ago? You were wearing it wrong? I think she was wearing it wrong her whole life, because you looked amazing." He says making me blush. I look around and spot our waiter coming this way. He places two plates and two glasses.
"Enjoy you meal." He says as he leaves.
"You bet I will." I whisper making my boyfriend smile.
   After maybe an hour and a half later we're heading back to my house. Hand in hand, both in wonderful mood, enjoying presence of the other. We didn't met anyone I know on our date and it's a win for me. The worst thing that could happen would be someone taking our time. 'Omg, Light! What are you doing here? With them? Date? Omg!' Yeah, it would look like something like that.
   We are at my door and Light is ready to say goodbye, but I talk before he could.
"Wanna come in? You know... Anniversarys are only once a year, and we could spend this all day together..." I say looking at his tie, I'm too unsure to look him in the eyes.
"I would love to." He says as he cups my checks and places a sweet kiss on my lips. We head to my living room, sit on the couch and I turn on my TV. Damn it, why am I so nervous? He's my boyfriend, I trust him, there's nothing to be worrying about. Ever since we started dating, he made obvious that he won't do anything to make me uncomfortable. He said that our first night is up to me and when I'm ready. He never pushed me to do anything. I lay my head on his shoulder, calming down a bit.
"Everything alright?" He asks caressing my check.
"Actually..."
"Yes, love?" I hear worry in his voice after I stayed silent for a while.
"I think I'm ready." I start playing with his hand. "I love you and I want to have sex with you." He stays silent. WHY IS HE SILENT? Is he surprised? Does he not want it? Oh please just say something.
"I love you too, princess." Did he not hear what I said? Did he just ignore it? I'm so confused.
I sit up to look at him and immediately he places his hand on my check and pulls me into a kiss. "Are you sure about it?" He looks me deeply in eyes. I just nod and he kisses me again.
Kiss turned into make out session. I have my hands in Lights hair as his are on my check and waist.
"We don't have to do this." He says when we pull out to catch breath.
"You're talking like you don't want it." I say worried that this is the case. He just chuckles and then smiles at me.
"I want it. I really do. I just don't want you to feel like you have to do it for some reason. I don't want you to do something you don't really want." He says calmly.
"You're so cute." I say and place quick kiss on his lips. "Come." I say pulling him towards my bedroom. He's at first confused, but then realizes where I'm taking him. I open the door and then look up at him. When he sees what's in the room he smiles and looks at me.
"So you really did think it through." He kisses me and slowly leads to my bed, he then carefully lays me down hovering over me. He starts to get rid of his tie, shirt and belt. He leans closer to me. Only centimeters between our bodies.
"Say whenever you want to stop or when you're uncomfortable, ok?" He asks me having his forehead on mine.
"Ok." I say quietly. He helps me undress kissing my bare skin.
"You're so beautiful." Light says before he kisses my lips and slides his hands up and down my sides. Now I'm just in my underwear. Yagami goes down with his kisses. First my lips, then neck, collar bone, breast, stomach. He placed kisses on my thighs and gently holds them. I can feel hot getting all over my body, butterflys in my stomach. "Are you serious?"
"Yes. You're my dearest. I couldn't live without you. And if anything ever was to happen to you-"
"Hey!" I cut him off. "Don't think of anything like that!" I say smiling slightly.
"You're right. I wouldn't let you get hurt anyway." He pulled me closer in a tight hug. "Please, never leave me, Princess."
"I wouldn't dare." I say snuggling into his chest. I know he's my special someone. His my soulmate. His my world. My Light in the dark of world.
