I hung up the phone and went on with my day.

Althea called me again, crying.

A: Any relationship is considered

L: Wait, so, how's Nick now?
A: I haven't heard from him ever
    since.

A: A week ago.
L: Althea, I'm gonna kill you.
A: I pretended that we were still
    dating because I know you'll get
   mad.

I hung up the phone aggressively without replying to what she said. A WEEK AGO?! How could she not tell me? What kind of 'bestfriend' does that?!
