Naruto: y/n? Open up, it's me!

I heard the little blond banging vigorously on the door of my house, risking breaking it down again like every morning since I had arrived in this village. Kakashi sensei had asked him to come and pick me up from my house the first day to accompany me on the training ground so that I discover the path and avoid getting lost. But Naruto had decided that it was going to become a habit for him now to pick me up from my house early in the morning. We made the trip together from my apartment to the place of our training determined the day before by our sensei.

It had been barely a week since I woke up in Konoha's hospital and everything was going well. The last two days, we hadn't had training with Kakashi sensei because he had gone on a mission. Naruto, Sakura and I had therefore trained with team 10. This one was made up of Shikamaru, Ino and Choji as well as their sensei, Asuma. The training had been based on hand-to-hand, a discipline in which I had discovered a great talent. I had apparently forgotten, among other things, that I was good at hand-to-hand combat which had been a big surprise. Not only for me but also for all the people present when I had succeeded in bringing down Naruto with a simple arm lock that I didn't even know I could do. So we had continued in this momentum and the training had paid off, I now remembered many close combat techniques that, according to my deductions, I used before I lost my memories. When I responded positively to Master Tsunade's question when she asked me if I was a ninja, I hadn't imagined for a second how true the answer I had given turned out to be. According to Naruto, I was an excellent ninja with great potential. Although his compliment made me happy, the little blond tended to see the good everywhere so I didn't trust that much in his opinion regarding this subject precisely.

We had joined Sakura on the training ground and we were ready for a long time of waiting, hoping that our sensei did not arrive excessively late today. Obviously, he did not deign to appear before us until an hour later. We had plenty of time to warm up, which suited him well because he got rid of this more than boring stage.

Kakashi: Well young people, today we are going to train in taijutsu.

Taijutsu was one of the three branches of the art of ninja combat along with ninjutsu and genjutsu. He regrouped hand-to-hand combat and weapon handling. It directly appealed to the physical and mental strength that the ninja acquires with training. During my last training sessions with Team 10 as well as Naruto and Sakura, memories about taijutsu came back to me. I remembered that the aptitude for taijutsu should in no way be confused with the raw power of the hand-to-hand fighter since taijutsu does not take into account the average strength or speed at which they can fight. What depended on these two factors was above all the ability of the ninja in hand-to-hand. The aptitude for taijutsu was above all a skill, therefore an index of potential, to be combined with speed and strength to measure the effective power of the practitioner. It was therefore above all an art which required a very long training and particularly rigorous physically. Had I received this apprenticeship? Considering my capabilities in this area, I must have had. It must have been long and trying, I was somewhat reassured not to remember the difficulties that I had been able to generate when learning this art. But fortunately, today I could claim loud and clear that I had mastered taijutsu.

Naruto: Oh great! Kakashi sensei, you will see how y/n is like super mega cool in taijutsu. It's awesome!

The questioned raised his only visible eyebrow while widening his eye at the same time then turned his head in my direction. He looked at me curiously and almost... playfully? He seemed to smile under his mask which, for some reason, made me shiver slightly.

Kakashi: That's interesting. Well, Naruto and Sakura you are going to face each other on the field right next to this one while I train with y/n. I am tempted to see how it's "awesome" as you say...
