Pearl Harbor - Different Time Line (Azur Lane)

Santa Cruz - 6 hours after the attack

Hornet and Enterprise are tending to the wounds of Shanghai, The Luxurians deemed her repairable so the two set to repair her, Enterprises along with hornets Emergency response team were working with the remaining Luxurian Emergency Crew to fix the carrier, Hornet would still be hugging Shanghai (This is used when another ship needs electricity to pump out the water before they can reach a drydock) her engines nearly bogging down several time's due to the power needed to run those pumps and Auxiliary systems

2 days later

The three carriers are now safely in Luxurian waters, the three have been trying to travel as fast as they could with a heavily damaged carrier. Hornet also a bit damaged insisted on her carrying Shanghai. Shanghai would slowly open her eyes, hornet would notice shanghai's eyes fluttering open, "Shanghai!" hornet yelled excitedly, Shanghai would wince from hornets loud voice, "Hornet don't yell please" Shanghai said, Hornet would instantly quiet down "Sorry" she said, 

Shanghai groaned again her side becoming more painful. Hornet would stop, "Shanghai where does it hurt?" Hornet said, she would run her hand alongside Shanghai's side and noticing a wince when she reached a bloody patch on her side. "We are almost there, just hang on," Hornet said. Shanghai would just nod, her throat was dry, Hornet would put her canteen in Shanghai's face "Drink" Hornet said as she lifted Shanghai's head, shanghai would open her mouth and gulp down the water, She would cough again after she swallowed the water. "H-Hornet," Shanghai said weakly, "Yes?" Hornet would say stopping for a moment to look at shanghai. "W-Wheres Pakistan?" Shanghai asked. "She's already at the base, she also got hit in the attack," Hornet said,  Shanghai would nod. the next 9 hours were in silence only disturbed by Shanghai's coughing. as the port of Hong Kong would come into view. Tug boat and destroyers rushed to the fleet, 

20 hours later 

Hornet would be led a temporary barrack for her and the other carriers. She would thank the destroyer and open the door the lights would be off, as her eyes adjusted to the darkness and see two people in a bed together, Shanghai would be sleeping with enterprise curled up next to her, they were both sleeping soundly, Hornet would smile and climb into bed with Shanghai and Enterprise. she would wrap her hands around her older sister and Shanghai, carefully as not to disturb some of the new stitches. Enterprise would grumble something and snuggle closer to Shanghai. Hornet would stifle a giggle, Hornet would snuggle against enterprises body, "Goodnight you two" she said softly, she would close her eyes and let Enterprise's soft snoring take her to sleep.
