"HORNET GET OVER HERE" Yelled Shanghai, The Americans, and Luxurians are both in a joint op in Santa Cruz, The luxurians provided two carriers while the Americans provided two, "IM COMING HOLD YOUR HORSES" Hornet yelled back, The two bigger shanghai class carriers were leading the formation, two TA-52 are already in the air (The two-engine fighter used by the Luxurians on carriers) The Two planes flew past hornet and started circling the force, the two Larger carriers slowed down to let hornet catch up, "God damm radars don't work anymore!" Yelled Shanghai as she tapped her head, the storm was interfering with the radar. 

The air filled with the buzzing of aircraft and quickly they knew it was the Japanese, both TA-52 Buzzed into the Fray scoring multiple kills but most of them passed through the fighter cover unharmed.

"They got past the fighter barrier light them up!" Yelled Pakistan, the .50 cals, Flak, and 25mm cannons lit up the sky, An lucky shot by one of Shanghai .50 cals sets a Japanese torpedo plane on fire, but it kept on coming, "Oh fuck..." Said Shanghai as the Torpedo plane smashed into her side, "Aagh" Shanghai Screamed, as pieces of the torpedo exploded dangerously close to the Ammunitions room as another plane smashes into her head, Shanghai would grip her side with her hand, as oil poured through her fingers "Gotta...Keep it together" Shanghai thought as fires begin to spread around her flight deck, she would collapse to her knees, "Shanghai I'm coming to assist!" Hornet yelled as she pulled alongside Shanghai, the Blonde would start to help pat out the fires on Shanghai, "Thanks hornet" Shanghai said, smiling weakly, "The Blonde would help the Larger Black haired girl to her feet, Pakistan up ahead would breathe a sigh of relief as the last Japanese plane would leave, she would look back to see the limping and smoking form of her older sister, Pakistan would slow down to let the two carriers to catch up, "How bad is it?" Pakistan asked, looking at her sister, "my engine room is flooded, Hornet is providing some emergency power to me for now" Shanghai said. Northampton would pull alongside the three carriers, "We need to move now" Northhampton said, The three carriers would nod their heads. "This is enterprise to the main fleet, I have exited the rain squall and prepping my planes over" Pakistan would respond "Copy we are currently preparing our planes as well but Shanghai got hit bad, she is out of the fight", "Copy" Enterprise would say. 

TIMESKIP 50 MIN

Shanghai is almost operational again, Hornet is still helping Shanghai. A low buzzing alerted the two carriers, Hornet and Shanghai were lagging behind the main fleet, the screening ship girls were on alert. Shanghai would pull away from the hornet's grasp. "PLANES" Yelled a destroyer. "FRIENDLY?" Yelled another destroyer, "ENEMY" Yelled the destroyer, the formation would tighten. Shanghai would be towed by a hornet. Soon Japanese planes soon attacked the carriers, "HORNET LOOKOUT" Yelled Shanghai, An burning Japanese plane was diving on hornet, "I SEE IT" Hornet yelled back, her Guns trying to blow the plane out of the sky, A flak shell Blew the plane into smithereens, While the two carriers were distracted by the Japanese planes, a squadron of Kate torpedo-bombers snuck though the fire coming from the ships. "SHANGHAI" Hornet yelled pointing to the aircraft, "Oh not again" Thought shanghai as her guns focused on the incoming torpedo planes, She would take out two torpedo planes before they dropped their torpedos, "Shit," Shanghai said, as hornet seeing the torpedos would turn hard to port, During the maneuver, Shanghai's guns are blazing murderous.50 cals and 25mm cannons into the torpedos, one would explode, she would refocus on the other three.

The three torps slammed into Shanghai's Hull, "Aargh" Shanghai Screamed, An 25-foot hole was blown into her side, Another fire was started on deck 5 and deck 4, her engine room is flooding, Shanghai would hold her bleeding side, oil trickling through her fingers, As she tried to get a breath in another plane smashes into her head, Shanghai just didn't even have the strength to scream in pain anymore, she would collapse. "SHANGHAI" Yelled Hornet as she disconnected her tow line and doubled back to Shanghai, The luxurian carrier was miraculously still afloat. Hornet quickly grabbed the black-haired girl and held her close to her, Shanghai head would rest in hornets chest. "Shanghai..." Hornet cried feeling tears roll down her cheeks. Enterprise who has rejoined the fleet by now also came to assist Shanghai, "Hornet grab bandages" Enterprise said as she placed her hand on Shanghai's bleeding wound, trying to stop the bleeding. Hornet would nod and quickly open one of her compartments and take out several rolls of gauze.
