I got home to see a text from the girl at the strawberry fields
"Hi dear, it's Lorena, from the fields~"
She's so nice. I love her texting style too.
"Hey love. How are you?"
I hope I didn't come off too strong with the "hey love". Actually, seems like something she'd like.
"Good, better now that you replied~"
Oh my god I'm in love.
"I know I might be rushing it, but would you like to come over to my house and chat while we make a pie tomorrow morning? It would give us the opportunity to get to know eachother"
"Oh that would be amazing Em. What time?~"
I took a minute to think. I wouldn't want her to have to wake up too early, and she would need time to drive here.
"How about 10?"
"Perfect! Do you live near the strawberry fields?~"
"Yep, just follow the dirt road that goes up the hill with sunflowers and lavender fields on it and my cottage should be there."
I may have made it seem a little bit better than it is, but still. Directions.
"Oh wonderful, I'll see you there.~"

As my cousin drove me home from the strawberry fields, I texted Emma, heres what I said.
"Hi dear, it's Lorena, from the fields~"
"Hey love. How are you?"
Oh how nice to have someone like her to talk to. We've barely met and she's calling me love
"Good, better now that you replied~"
I gave her a subtle flirt back
"I know I might be rushing it, but would you like to come over to my house and chat while we make a pie tomorrow morning? It would give us the opportunity to get to know eachother"
She had the best idea for a date
"Oh that would be amazing Em. What time?~"
I wanted to make sure I didn't get there too early, and I didn't want her waiting too long either.
"How about 10?"
She asked. Ten happened to be the time I was thinking of coming as well.
"Perfect! Do you live near the strawberry fields?~"
What was I even asking, of course the lives by the strawberry fields have you seen her?

She lives in a cottage, how lovely.

She called me love again. I love her

That was stressful. I've been through my fair share of flirting sessions with girls but Emma, she was different.
