Eight

"W- Who are you?" You tripped over your words as you stared at a boy with long brown hair. He was about 5 feet, maybe even a bit taller. He was wearing a yellow and black striped shirt with overalls, and had a bright smile on his face.

"My name is Toby! Is this seat open?"

"Uhm yeah..!" You move closer to the window to make room for him. Toby sits down on the seat you prepared for him as a smile spreads across his face

"Thank you! Also, what's your name?" He stared into your y/e/c eyes as you gave him an answer.

"My name is y/n!" You smiled at him.

"Oh wait, your Nick's brother if I'm not mistaken?" He said in a questioning manner.

"Oh, you know?

"Sorry, was I not suppose to?" He had a worried and embarrassed face written all over him.

"Oh no it's fine, I guess I just don't want it revealed to this school." You smiled at him as the bus started to move. " I assume you're Tubbo?"

"Yep! That's me!" He smiled at you then stared back at the chair in front of him. "It's nice to know someone that's a good friend with my brother." You said as you look at him staring off into the distance.

"Is it good? I mean don't you have other friends?" He looked back up at you. 

"Well, not since the Corey incident."

"Corey incident?" He questioned.

"Don't tell me you don't know it!" I said, looking back up at him in shock. "Never in my life!" Toby quickly replies.

You sigh as you look back down. "A hopeless confession let's just say." 

"Whatever it is, I know it's not hopeless." he looks up at you with a serious face. You chuckle. "Whatever you say. Everyone stares at me differently now. I know you will too if I give you every detail." 

"Fuck the details, from what I know now, you're a nice person" He looks up at you, and you look up at him. He had bright blue eyes. and perfect freckles along his cheeks. "Heh, glad you think that but, no." He looks up at you as the bus comes to a stop. "Thanks for that though, I'll see you soon?" you start to exit the bus, as he follows behind you. 

"How about we stream?" He looks up at you as you two are both standing on the pavement, the other teens running along the sidewalk to get home quickly. "With Tommy, or anyone else you'd like."

You chuckle turning around to start walking home. " I'd love that" you left him standing there, probably wasn't the best choice but, better than to stand in the awkward silence that would fall.

You hear him shout behind you, "Yeah! What time?" You figured you would pretend you couldn't hear him. You would just DM him the plans. The plans to stream with Tommy. Well, there is Tubbo as well but- it made you happy to stream with the closest friends you have.
