YOU, KURAPIKA, AND Leorio waited as Gon said his prolonged goodbye to the captain. You were playing [favorite game] on your phone. A notification popped up saying you only had 5% left. You sighed, turned off your phone, and shoved it into the pocket of your [f/c] letterman jacket. You look up and see Gon running towards you.

He smiles and waves as he jogs towards you. "Hey, guys!"

You smiled and waved back, "Hey,"

You and Gon looked back and saw Kurapika and Leorio looking at a community map. You and Gon ran up to them, checking it out too. Gon told them about some shortcut at the cedar tree the captain told him about as soon as you got there.

"Huh... that's strange" Leorio mumbled. Everyone looked at him

"What?" you asked.

"According to the notice I received, the Exam is supposedly held somewhere in Zaban City," he said, showing you guys his phone.

"And?"

"Right now we're here," Leorio said, pointing to a place on the map. "The cedar tree is in the opposite direction," Leorio concluded, moving his finger between the cedar tree and Zaban City on the map.

"Perhaps you misheard him?" Kurapika suggested, looking at Gon.

"No," Gon responded, shaking his head, "he told me to go to the cedar tree."

"I don't know, Gon... maybe it's some kind of trick. 'Cause like the captain said last night, the Exam started already. Maybe it's a test of judgment?" You said, scratching your head out of frustration.

"Mm-mm. I think he told the truth."

"And this notice isn't any help!" Leorio exclaimed. "Where exactly in Zaban City are we supposed to go?" he said, examining the small piece of paper as if his glasses weren't enough to help.

"Our task is to find the exam site, using a limited amount of information," Kurapika concluded.

"Well, that'll totally be easy!" You shouted in sarcasm, "We have an easily trusting 12-year-old― no offense, Gon," you added.

"None taken." he shrugged.

"...and a clueless, hot-headed old man!" you finished, flailing your arms around dramatically. "Hey, watch it, kid," Leorio said, grabbing your head, moving it side-to-side.

"The only smart person here is Kurapika!" you said pointing at Kurapika, who smiled.

"And then there's me. I'm no help, really." You said, placing your hands on your waist.

Kurapika sighed, "It is just another test we have to take before entering the Hunter Exam." He confirmed your previous question.

"I-I knew that..." Leorio said unconvincingly.
