Kinsley was anxious. She didn't know why she was anxious she just knew that she was anxious. It was stupid really, she had dressed up for the concert. Well, dressed up to a point. She was wearing a pair of white high waist shorts with a black loose v-neck tucked into them. Over top of her teeshirt she was wearing a yellow lace-y chiffon duster kimono that had bell sleeves. She was short so on her feet were a pair of brown five-inch wedge sandals. They were front and center for the show and though Kinsley was never a lover of her mother's music it was almost soothing being there. The voice was familiar to her and she didn't even talk to the woman, she just heard her voice and it felt like she was safe and protected.

"You look like her." Kitty says after the concert wraps and they collect their stuff. Kinsley throws her big brown leather purse over her shoulder and turns to her friend.

"You really think so...you think I look like my mother?" Kinsley inquires.

"I do. I can see it in your face and the hair." She nods.

Once the concert clears those with VIP tickets are lingering in the auditorium and a beefy security guard raises his voice.

"Alright, single file line, you get thirty seconds and a picture." He states.

"30 seconds..." Kinsley looks at Kitty.

"Well it makes sense there's a lot of us." She shrugs.

"I guess." Kinsley sighs digging out her envelope. She had literally bought a box of envelopes and had enveloped a copy of her adoption records, the letter that Stevie wrote, and her own letter along with a polaroid of her. She had so many polaroids that she took herself and there wasn't any use to throw them in a drawer so she picked out the best looking ones.

She had written Ms. Nicks on it, in a delicate cursive and then they got in line. They were the last ones in the line and the wait didn't seem fast enough because the closer she got to the woman wearing a black chiffon cold shoulder top and what looked liked leggings the more she wanted to vomit.

She shook their hands and they said their names and then a picture was taken and Kinsley handed Stevie the letter. Stevie thanked her and then she handed it off to the brunette curly headed woman in the corner and as they were walking out of the VIP area, they watched as the brunette dropped the letter in the waste basket. Kitty and Kinsley shared a look and then they walked back out to their car in tense silence. Most of the traffic had cleared so Kinsley just gulped and headed out of the parking garage.

They got back to the hotel and after they had changed their clothes, Kitty into a pair of black and grey pajama pants and a black tank top, Kinsley into a pink silk short and tank top set  they were sitting on the bed and Kitty was the one that broke the tense silence.

"Karen threw it away."

"Karen?" Kinsley cocks an eyebrow. She had been eating a cup of blueberry yogurt and she dropped the spoon into the cup and sat it on the nightstand.

"Karen is Stevie Nicks' assistant. She was the Curley headed chick that Stevie handed the letter too. She threw it away." Kitty sighs.

"Am I...am I stupid for doing this?" Kinsley asks falling back into the pillows.

Kitty just let out a breath. "I don't know."

"You don't know...you're no help." Kinsley sighs.

"Kinz, you of all people have a right to know who your biological parents are. It just sucks that your mom is the queen of rock and roll. That created so many hoops you have to jump through. You're not stupid for wanting answers. But it's not going to be easy and like I said before we embarked on this trip. You are as resilient as all hell. It'll work, one day it will work." Kitty tries to assure her but it doesn't help.

"Are you driving to Holmdel tomorrow morning?" Kinsley asks.

"If you want me to. But we'll have to leave at like nine. That gets us there about eleven check in isn't until three but we can find a grocery store get something for dinner and breakfast." Kitty nods.

"Okay." Kinsley gives a small smile.

After Kitty sets her alarm and she falls asleep, Kinsley just stands up and goes to the window and looks out into the city night. She stared at the crescent moon for a while thumbing at the one around her neck. It was stainless steel with cubic zirconium diamonds in it, but she loved it.  Then she turned back around to her cell phone. There was this nagging feeling in her gut so she chewed on her lip and grabbed her phone. She googled Lindsey Buckingham and when she saw his picture she just smiled. She dug into his information and found a hyperlink to a woman named Kristen Messner. She opened it and was brought to a website www.kristenbuckingham.com. It was eclectic looking, but she had show room pictures and though it certainly WAS NOT her style, she just started biting on her lip again.

Kinsley was a planner, she had everything mapped out in an itinerary. And she looked at the tour days. Stevie didn't have any dates in Los Angeles, the last date of the tour that they had tickets for was September 27th in Florida. She wrote the date down on the hotel provided notepad and then she opened up google. It was a 39 hour drive from Florida to Los Angeles. But it was also a 36 hour drive from Florida to Salt Lake City. They'd get to Salt Lake probably on the thirtieth at the latest. It was ten hours from Salt Lake to Los Angeles so that would be her journey for the second. Going back to Kristen's website, she located the consultation calendar. There was an opening at 3:30 on the third of October so she reserved it and paid the 250 dollar consultation fee.
