IT WAS just when everyone was getting ready was when Childe heard a sudden exclamation of horror from somewhere outside his dressing room.

"They're.. they're totally ruined !" He saw a couple girls frantically rush past his dressing room, and he heard Kaeya's voice down the hall nearby.

"When was the last time you saw the costumes before they were like this?"

"E-erm.. this.. this morning, sir."

"I see.. In that case, tell someone to order a new costume made for Childe and we'll just film a different scene today.." Kaeya answered with a more serious tone than usual, and his footsteps got closer until Childe heard a knock on his slight ajar door and Kaeya stuck his head inside.

"Hey there. Plans have changed. I'm afraid someone got in and, well, kinda vandalized your costune as probably a bad prank. . So we're going to review the morning bedroom scene, instead today." Kaeya explained with a causal smile, acting as if everything would be okay still. And after a moment of processing that, Childe forced a smile back, nodding in return.

"That's horrible. I hope you find out who did it," Childe called back, waving as Kaeya left. Though.. his costume was ruined ? It was a shocking discovery. Especially on the first day of filming.

"That's just terrible.." sighed one of the makeup artists, giving Childe a sympathetic look. "I can't imagine who would do such a thing!"

Childe frowned, seeming just as puzzled. It wasn't like he was a famous actor compared to the other ones working on this movie, so who would target him? It just didn't make sense

"Maybe just someone's idea of a joke. I'm sure they'll be able to fix it. Mr. Kaeya doesn't seem the type to let things get ruined by one little unfortunate accident," Childe replied, earning a blush from the two makeup artists.

"Sir, you really believe in Mr. Alberich that much?"

"We'll make sure nothing else bad happens for you, sir! Right?!"

"Right!" The two girls agreed, giving each other smiled before continued doing Childe's makeup.

"Remember Childe, you're playing as the villain Ajax, who is trying to seduce the geo god Rex Lapis and take away his powers.." Kaeya quickly reviewed, slinging one of his legs over the other as he leaned back into his seat and overlooked the movie set which he been made to look like a classic bedroom with a Chinese aesthetic to it. There was a large lavish bed on the floor, decorated wooden furniture and handpainted scrolls handing on the delicate walls. It all looked so beautiful and Childe would've been more memorized if he didn't feel so damn nervous right now.

"Calm down! It's just a small scene that isn't even that long! Sure, you're going to be in bed with the guy you just hooked up with last night, but it's no big deal-"

Oh, but it was a big deal. Because the reason this scene was chosen to do, was because costumes weren't neccesarily.. needed.

So, no. No Zhongli wasn't wearing anything but a pair of thin nude-colored shorts that were lower waisted.

It was in that second when he came out dressed like that, hair slightly tousled, body basically showing that Childe's mind had a flashback all of a sudden-
