"Apprently Zhongli- san is out. I heard be might be sick..."

"Oh no ! For real ?!"

"I'd saw off my left leg to nurse him back to health.."

"I heard a water pipe broke at the photoshoot he had the other day and he got super soaked ! Sigh . I wish I got to see it.."

The fact that Zhongli had taken the day off and was perhaps sick, had spread like wildfire and it didn't take long before Childe heard. It was practically the first thing he heard when he entered the studio.

"Zhongli isn't here... !?"

Childe noticed Kaeya sigh nearby
The blue-headed male fanned himself with a clipboard as be discussed the problem with some of the other crew members.

"Without one of our main stars, there's not much we can do. I suppose we'll have to try and rearrange what we had planned and film the scenes we have excluding Zhongli.." he sighed out, adjusting the black eye-patch he was wearing, which matched the satin vest he wore over a deep blue button up. "Nothing else we can really do besides that. Though I could perhaps sway my dear brother into sending Zhongli some free wine. But I doubt he'd agree."

Today seemed to drag on. The anocument for everyone to head home for the day couldn't come soon enough, and when it did, Childe was out of that studio like no tomorrow. He had been distracted the entire day, not being able to relax knowing that Zhongli was out. He never heard of the guy once taking a vacation. And after getting drenched in water, was it possible he had gotten sick after all ? If so, was Xiao there to help take care of him ? Or was Zhongli trying to deal with it on his own ? Childe wouldn't be surprised if the latter was true.

So Childe did the sensible thing and went over to Zhongli's place as quickly as possible.

Childe continously pressed the doorbell every few seconds, but it didn't take long before the door opened slowly and Zhongli stumbled over, his head peeking out, and by just the look on his face, Childe could tell the rumor of him being out sick was true.

"Childe ? What are you doing here ..?" He asked, seeming quite unimpressed with the irritating sound of the doorbell going off, but Childe didn't let it bother him. He was a bit more concerned about someone else at the moment.

"Zhongli-sensei, are you okay !?" He asked immediately, worry taking over his face even more, and even Zhongli could tell.

"I'll be alright.. Please don't get too close, I'm si-" Zhongli tried to shut the the door, but he began to cough and fall forward, and thanks to Childe's quick reflexes, he caught him, and gasped. Zhongli was burning.

"He's burning up. Even through his clothes I can tell.." Childe thought with alarm. He didn't ask, either. He just threw Zhongli's arm over his shoulder and went inside, kicking the front door shut with his foot and looked for his bedroom. And Zhongli was too out of it to even fight back or argue

Childe scanned around and went to the first door he saw, which lucky surprise- was Zhongli's room.

The bedroom matched his atmosphere; it was filled with shades of brown and gold, along with touches of black and white. Stacks of books filled the bookshelves which stuck to almost every wall; tapestries decorated the chocolatey walls where bookshelves did not, and on the floor in the center of the room, was a woven white rug with what had hand sewn dragons and backgrounds on it, swirling in the center was a geo symbol attached.
