I was weak. I have been weak for some time now. No matter what I do, I end up drained. This was hard for me to process most of the time. Especially will regarding me as a hopeful & bright person. His mother caressed his hair. "당신 아픈 곳이 있나요? 필요한 거 있어요?" (Are you in any pain ? Need anything ?) Hoseok smiled weakly, "I am fine." His mother didn't believe him for a second. Her son always was prone to lying so she wouldn't worry.

Hoseok' father was away on business in Seoul. So he wasn't up to date on Hoseok's daily wellbeing. His mother was beyond worried. Hoseok had never been so sick in his life. Especially with no signs of being sick at all. "정말이에요, 호석아?" (Are you sure, Hoseok ah ?) Hoseok didn't even know what was truly wrong with him. He was weak & felt hot. His body was burning up. Just what exactly was wrong with him ? "I am sure, Mom. I just will rest for now." He closed his eyes as soon as she left.

Once out of the room his mother called his father. "His condition isn't improving at all. I am worried about Hoseok, honey." His father sighed, "Why don't you call a doctor ? Hoseok has been sick for well over a week now." His mother rolled her eyes. "A doctor ? There is no really symptoms of sickness." His father was busy, but still worried for his son. He knew his wife was ultimately perturbed about their son' condition. "한번 시도해 보는 게 어때요? 다른 모든 게 실패하면 그를 서울로 보낼 거예요." (Why don't you give it a try ? If all else fails you'll send him to Seoul.)

The call ended a few minutes later. She checked on Hoseok before doing as her husband suggested. Hoseok was so weak he didn't even have much of an appetite. The doctor soon was in to see him. Ran all kinds of tests & asking many questions. It honestly annoyed Hoseok to no end. "There are no physical or psychological signs that your son is sick, Mrs. Jung. I am afraid you'll need to gather a second opinion." Hoseok' mother let out a near choked sob. There was nothing she could do for Hoseok. She had to send him to Seoul.

She sat with Hoseok once the doctor was gone. "How do you feel about being in Seoul with your father ?" Hoseok was grateful his parents cared so much, but he was extremely weak at the moment. Would the busy streets of Seoul be of any real help to him ? "서울이요? 의사들을 더 상대해야 하나요?" (Seoul ? Would I have to deal with more doctors ?) His mother nodded, "We need to be thorough, Hoseok. Something is wrong." Hoseok wasn't ideally happy, but had no real choice. Something was wrong. He was sick beyond comprehension.

It wasn't much longer before his mother sent him on his way to Seoul. He hadn't been away from his hometown of Gwangju ever. He ignored pretty much everything as he awaited to get to Seoul.

As son as he met up with his father he was checked into a hospital. "Hoseok, don't be alarmed. These doctors will take great care of you while they try to figured out what's wrong with you." Hoseok nodded as he was situated in a room.

Then all was black...
