"Welcome, Hoseok. I have been expecting you." The man before I could barely look at. He was the embodiment of the sun. "여기가 어디죠? 누구세요?" (Where am I ? Who are you ?) I was confused. The man essentially was a bright light to me. Could he understand me at all ? He seemed to keep his distance. "I am Ra. Welcome to the spiritual realm."
I thought back to my time in the library. I was very much into Egyptian & Greek mythology. "The sun god. What is it that you need ?" Ra smirked, glad to see I knew of him. I oddly felt better in his presence. "I know you are sick, Hoseok. Sorry."
Once again I was confused. "Why are you sorry ?" Ra sighed, "It is partly my fault. The spiritual realm is in disarray. You & your soulmate will have to bring the balance back." Now I was for sure confused. Soulmate ? This is a word I hadn't heard in a while. Do I even have one ? "Soulmates are real ? Everyone has one ?"
Ra gave me a smile, but I could see he was saddened a bit. "They very much are real. Not everyone gets one in a single lifetime." I had a soulmate ? This was hard to process. "Why must I find my soulmate ? Why is the spiritual realm in disarray ?" Ra walked with me. He showed me the true carnage. Spirits were fighting constantly & seeking retribution of any kind, "There is no balance. Good can't live without bad. So how do you expect the spirits to live with only day without night ?"
Suddenly I jolted awake...
