"Welcome, Yoongi. I have been expecting you." The man before I could barely look at. He was covered heavily by dim darkness. "당신은 누구시죠? 악의는 없지만, 당신을 예상하지 못했어요." (Who are you ? No offence, but I am was not expecting you.) I was confused. The man essentially was a faint light to me. Could he understand me at all ? He seemed to keep his distance. "I am Khonsu. Welcome to the spiritual realm."
I thought back to my time in the library. I was very much into Greek mythology. However, I had studied a bit of Egyptian mythology. "The moon god, right ? What is it that you want from me ?" Khonsu smirked, glad to see I knew of him. I didn't really care. This wasn't an ideal situation at all in my case. "I know you are sick, Yoongi. Sorry."
Once again I was confused. "Why are you sorry ?" Khonsu sighed, "It is partly my fault. The spiritual realm is in disarray. You & your soulmate will have to bring the balance back." Now I was for sure confused. Soulmate ? This is a word I hadn't heard in a while. Do I even have one ? "Soulmates aren't real. That is someone people tell their children to avoid the deeper part of the conversation."
Khonsu gave me a strained smile, but I could see he was dejected a bit. "They very much are real. Not everyone gets one in a single lifetime." I had a soulmate ? This was had to be a joke of some kind. "Why must I find my soulmate ? Why now ?" Khonsu walked with me. He showed me the true carnage. Spirits were fighting constantly & seeking retribution of any kind, "There is no balance. Light can't live without the dark. So how do you expect the spirits to live with only day without night ?"
Suddenly I jolted awake...
