I woke up in a panic. It had been a while since I had a dream like that. I started coughing immediately, ever since the incident I never coughed normally anymore more than air and bacteria would come out. Blood normally accompanied.
I wheezed a little as I gasped for air.
"Shit."
Just then, S.P entered my room.
"Are you sick?"
"Yes."
"Awww does it hurt?"
'She's mocking me.'
"Yes but why the fuck would you care. Oh wait that's right, cause that's how your parents raised you. To not have a heart."
"You're grounded."
"Can't ground the kid you disowned bitch!"
"You live under my roof."
"Actually, no. I'm buying my own house once I'm of age and besides, I can always go to dad. "
"I hope you die then anyways."
"Yeah I hope I die too."
S.P left my room and I quickly shut the door behind her. I got changed and went to school.
-----------------------------------------
It started raining.
"Fuck."
"Need a hand ma'am?"
A voice I didn't recognize. I turned around to see who it was. It seemed to be a male possibly around my age, with cat ears and cat tail. His hair was like a mix of brown and black. He was carrying an umbrella.
"Well?"
He tilted his head to the side smiling slightly.
"I uh..."
"Too late"
He grabbed me by was it and put me under the umbrella as well.
"That was sudden..."
"Well, weirdo says 'what'."
"What?-"
I realized.
"HUH- I-"
"it's best not to get too angry about it. Be proud of being weird."
His smile was so sweet. We walked the rest of the way to school together. I enjoyed being around him. -----------------------------------------
"Hey Guts! Ohhhh~~~ whose that Guts~~~"
"Heather! Don't do that!"
I said laughing a little
"Haha, are you two sisters?"
"Yeah how'd you know?"
"I can smell your guys blood. Not to sound creepy or anything..."
"WOAH! THAT SOUNDS SO COOL!"
"you think so?..."
"Of course!!!"
"Heh somebody's got a crush~"
The rest of that time before class was spent chasing Heather all over school. Ellis, who we learned was his name, also chased.
