Hey Guys

Back with another story....Hope you enjoy

*Siddharth's pov*

It started in the guest room. It was empty, completely. No furniture, nothing. Just a boring, empty room. A shiver ran through me as I looked around it; empty rooms freaked me out. It was a complete change to my old room, which was filled with things everywhere you looked. I was sure it'd be fine once I started to decorate it, but at the moment it just felt unsettling. Just then I felt a warm hand on my shoulder and I turned to be faced with Avneet, my friend who had been kind enough to let me use their spare guest room.

Avneet was a few inches taller than me and had striking blue eyes, and short brunette hair that always seemed to fall in front of her eye. We only met about 6 months ago at the start of uni, but if I was being honest I'd always had a bit of a crush on her, although I didn't like to admit it.

"You alright?" she asked, concern shining in her eyes.

"Yeah, just always had a thing about empty rooms, make me feel a bit on edge. Thanks for letting me stay here though, I'm very grateful." I replied, smiling back at her.

Avneet smiled widely at me and it made my heart beat twice as fast as usual.

"Well that's okay, it's not like it's your fault those stupid idiots in your dorm were such brats. I'll help you move your stuff in in a second if you'd like the help?" she offered kindly.

"If you don't mind" I said sheepishly and she grinned.

We spent the rest of the afternoon moving stuff into the room and later Avneet went into her own room to do some studying for her coursework. I was just finishing sticking up the posters and old drawings I had left when there was a knock at the door.

"Siddharth, can I come in?" I heard Olivia call through the door.

"Yeah, of course" I said back, putting the blue-tack down on my desk.

I heard the door open and Avneet stepped through.

"Woah, you've really changed things in here" she said, staring around in wonder.

"Like it?" I said nervously, blushing slightly as I looked at the floor.

Avneet stepped towards me and lifted up my chin with one finger so I caught her eyeline.

"I love everything you do" she said, and smirked as she saw me gulp and my heartrate rocketed.

My gaze drifted momentarily from her eyes to her lips, and I was hoping against everything in me she hadn't noticed. But she did. Hell, anyone could've noticed.

She stepped closer, if that was even possible. Her hands snaked around my waist and she moved so her face was mere millimetres from my own, her lips brushing over mine as she spoke.

"Nothing you do could ever make me hate you, so why don't you just do what we both know you were thinking of doing just then." she whispered, never breaking eye contact with me.

I leaned up, closing the gap between us as my lips met hers. My arms wrapped around her neck as she pulled me closer, the kiss slow but passionate as emotions were passed between us that neither could ever vocalize. Eventually, we pulled apart. Avneet had a smile plastered across her face that I could feel was also plastered across mine.

Something beautiful had been created between these two people, and it started in the guest room.
