Hey Guys💜

I m back with another story

So let's start

*Siddharth's pov*

I was sat on the log of a fallen tree with my best friend Jannat. My other best friend,Faisu, was sat over near the side of the hill with my girlfriend Avneet. It was a beautiful clear night, and the sounds of the running stream and the last of the birds chatter was all that could be heard. They were talking quietly between them, as I was also doing with Jannat.

"So when did you say you had to leave?" Jan asked.

"Tomorrow, but I'll be back by the afternoon if all goes well" I replied

"I can't believe you forgot you had a doctors appointment on the same weekend as our camp" Jan said, rolling her eyes.

"My excitement clouded my memory" I pouted, and Jan laughed as I hit her arm playfully.

Just then Faisu walked over.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna go to sleep now but I'll see you tomorrow morning" he said, whilst simultaneously yawning.

"I'll join you there," answered Jan "See you guys tomorrow"

We said our goodbyes and the two walked off to where our tents were situated not too far from where I sat now. I looked up at the beautiful stars glimmering in the desolate black of the sky, then down to where I could see the figure of Avu by the last of the fading light. She had her knees drawn up to her chest and was sat on the floor with her arms resting on her legs. I stood up and then made my way over to her. Once I reached her I sank to the floor by her side and rested my head on her shoulder.

"Hi" I said, smiling into her neck.

"Hey" she replied, putting her arms around me and pulling me into a side hug.

I frowned and pulled back slightly to look at her.

"You're cold" I said, looking at her figure as she shivered slightly and at the goosebumps covering her arms.

"I'm fine honestly don't worry" she replied, trying and failing to keep her voice steady in the cold air.

I shook my head.

"No, you're not" I said.

Before she could complain I pulled my hoodie over the top of my head and handed it to her.

"Here, take it" I said firmly, looking into her eyes. The stars reflected in the deep brown of them, like I was staring directly at the universe. I felt goosebumps forming on my arms but it wasn't because of the cold.

"But what about you?" she asked me.

"I'm fine, besides, if you'd hurry up and put it on then I'd have someone to hug away the cold wouldn't I?" I said playfully.

Avu aughed but finally obliged and pulled my hoodie over her head, hugging it to her body. Damn she looked so much better in it than I did.

Avu turned to me and all I could do was look at her in silence. She was just so beautiful. She opened her arms to me and I snuggled back into the side of her body, smiling as her arms wrapped around me. We sat there for a few minutes in a comfortable silence, just observing our surroundings. After a while I pulled out of her embrace and looked at her.

"I love you" I said honestly.

"I love you too" she said back, and I knew she meant it.

I moved myself forward slightly and cupped her cheek, and the next thing I knew she'd leant down and my lips were on hers. It was the calmest but most excited I'd ever felt at the same time.

"AWWWWW" I heard 2 voices coming from behind me, and we pulled apart to see Jan and Faisu watching from their tent.

I felt the heat rushing through my face as I looked between them and Avu.

"HAH you owe me a something, I told you their first kiss would be on this trip!" Jan exclaimed

"Damn it!" Faisu said and I buried my head in my hands.

"You guys were seriously betting on this?!" Avu exclaimed with an awkward laugh.

"Yep!" both Jan and  Faisu said.

"Night !" Jan shouted, and they both went back inside, and we could hear them sniggering.

I shook my head and stood up before helping Avu get up, looking between her and the tents.

"I can't believe them sometimes." I said, smiling.

"Neither" Avu said with a laugh.

"Just so you know I wasn't finished there." I said with a smirk.

"Good, neither was I." she replied with a tone that made my heart beat 10 times quicker. "Lets just go inside and escape prying eyes this time?"

I laughed, then responded with "Good idea."

We walked back towards the tents, hand in hand, and I'd never felt happier in my whole life.
