"I need to go now, you should get some rest." rindou place a kiss on y/n's forehead, getting ready to leave for work.
y/n, who was in his bed ; looks up to him with puffy and sleepy eyes. she held her arms up and pulls rindou into her embrace.
she took a deep breath in of his cologne and he pulls away a little, her arms still around his neck. "come back safely." she whispers, placing a kiss on his cheeks and lets go.
rindou pats her head and left the room, making sure the close the bedroom door and locking the front door.
he got downstairs and was greeted by his assistant, he got in his car and sighs. "speak." he says and his assistant looks at him.
"mister ran said they might got a lead on the nightwalkers." he says and rindou raises his eyebrows.
"they found the girl?" he watches as his assistant shakes his head.
"it's not the girl. It's the genius of the group, the one on the computer."
rindou stayed silent after that and once they arrived at the haitani's company, he was greeted by some of the employees but he ignores them and immediately went to ran's office.
he went inside without knocking and glares at ran's female assistant, who's always trying to seduce him or ran. "get the fuck out."
the girl eyes widen and ran out the office, shutting the door behind her. "I don't appreciate you screaming at my workers like that." ran says, standing up.
"you found one of them?" rindou sits down on the couch and crosses his legs, taking one cigarette when ran offered him.
ran sits down beside him and lights up his own cigarette too, "not the main two people we wanted but it's better." ran said.
"and he's a lot more younger than we've expected, probably the youngest but smartest among them." ran puffs out the smoke.
rindou did the same and pauses, thinking about it. "so are we going to make a move to find him?" rindou asked.
"kaku and koko are observing him from afar right now. he's a smart guy so he might catch on if we're too obvious like the last time."
"for now, we'll just observe him and see who he interacts with the most, especially during night times." rindou nods.
"and I found out they have a secret mission and it might involves you." ran said, and rindou raised his eyebrows.
