100 years after the war. The demons country.

The sun climbed over the horizon;telling the world that day was approaching. A soft breeze blew gently, caressing my long red hair and causing my wolf ears to twitch at the sensation as I look over my tribe and towards the mountains that stood proudly a little ways off from were I stood on a good sized hill.

Spring was finally here and with it brought new beginnings and promises and also made it one year closer until I gained the title of wise woman of the Sahora demons tribe. We the Sahora demons are a proud race and are always one with nature and are easily distinguishable when together with our brother tribes. Since the Sahoras are one of few demons who look similar to humans, since our bodys usually have ears, tail, eyes, teeth, claws or wings of an animal and the rest is that of a human body. The Sahora demons are also one of the three tribes who have a wise woman, a female who is skilled in fighting but has the power to heal. The main thing the wise woman is known for is their power to bring peace to anyone who is near them and are well respected for that.

The noises of the tribe waking filled my sensitive wolf ears and effectively pulling me from my thoughts. My sightly glowing green eyes snapped towards the first person who walked out of their tent. A smile graced my lips as I realized it was only my childhood friend and our villages next leader, Chane. As always he had long golden hair that was pulled back into a tight pony tail since his hair always looked like a mane if he did not, he had sharp blue eyes and a strong build that would make any woman swoon and many men feel ashamed. Chane was wearing light colored dear skin breeches and a colorful band of beads on his left bicep. Most of the tribe wears similar clothing except woman have the option to wear dresses or a mans shirt and breeches.  As if feeling my stare, Chane's  lion ears turned my way and his golden lion tail swished back and forth until he turned and saw me. He flashed my a shining smile and waved, giving a wave back; I made my way down the hill only to stop when there was a shift in the air. As soon as it came it vanished. Something was about to change and I Terra Falls, adopted daughter of the current wise woman, would be powerless to stop it.

Terra swung her sword out with the speed of a viper at her opponent, effectively scratching her opponent's arm.Her opponent, a prideful young man with bald eagle wings and eyes, charged at Terra. Terra calmly sidestepped out of her opponent's way as he tripped over his own feet and into the ground below him. Terra let out a long sigh.

"Your to cocky and arrogant and let your anger get to your head. If I was an enemy you would already be dead." She stated bluntly while sheathing her sword.

She had been training this young man for five ours;on the request of his father and she was already tired of him. Her adoptive mother, the current wise woman, always said patience and calmness was the key to men like this young demon and Terra never doubted her adoptive mother's words until now. Because this demon repeated the same mistakes, over and over, and would not learn if he did not correct them.

The young man spat dirt from his mouth and quickly stood up. He had a fire in his eyes that made Terra smile and also reminded her on why she agreed to train him, all because she liked that look in his eyes when he said he would train under her at his father's request. With a Battle cry, the young man charged at Terra with his axe. Terra got back into her battle stance that had been perfected for years by herself and the many teachers she had and then quickly kicked his stomach. The young man fell to his knees and groaned covering his stomach with his arms. Terra lifted her booted foot up and the young man quickly shielded himself with his wings. Terra had expected that and quickly brought her foot down on his right wing.

A cry of pain and agony filled th air along with the sound of bones crushing under Terra's leather boot. The young man fell to the ground and let out a pained whimper.
