Terra arrived at her mothers tent, where her mother lay in the middle of the room, bleeding out at a rapid rate. Her hands still clenching her twin daggers that she had once so fondly kept clean and wrapped in a special cloth that was given to her by her first and last love. Her body was beaten and bruised and her eyes were slowly loosing life.

Terra rushed over to her mothers side. Her mother flinched but quickly relaxed when she realized it was only her eldest daughter.

Tears streamed down Terra's cheeks as she tried to choke back a wail that was threatening to leave her throat. Terra quickly teared a piece of cloth off her dress and pressed it against her mother's wound.

"Mother, its going to be okay. Your going to be okay. Just let me bandage-" Terra's words were cut off when her mother placed a hand on Terra's now bloodied hands and looked Terra in the eye. They both knew her mother wasnt going to make it. Espically with how deep the woond was, Terra's mothers healing abilities wouldnt heal her in time and Terra had yet to activate her wise woman healing powers.

"My child, I do not have long." Her mother took a shaky breath causing more tears to flow down Terra's cheeks as Terra shook her head in denial.

"You cant! I-"

"You and Nyra will be fine.Don't you dare deny it. You both have been living fine without my help! Now I need you to listen to me!" Terra's mother said sternly before coughing, blood slipping out of her mouth. Terra shut her mouth her eye's and ears focused on her mother.

Good. Terra's mother thought.

"You need to find your sister and rescue her. After that find Chane and head deep into the mountains with those who have escaped. You and Chane will need to guide them. Don't come out of the mountains for anything. You can get your food by hunting, fishing and foraging. Wait six months then speak to the Orosho tribe they will help you."

Terra nodded her head trying not to break down in front of her mother.

"Now I will always love you and your sister but you need to go." Terra's mother said weakly. She could feel her grip on the world fading and she wanted her daughter to leave before she passed.

Terra let out a sob and hugged her mother tightly and her mother hugged her back. After a few seconds her mother pushed Terra off her.

"Go!" Terra's mother ordered.

Terra stood up and walked towards the flap of the tent then stopped. She cast one last look at her mother.

"I love you too. Thank you for everything you've done for Kyra and me." Terra said and composed herself, she wanted to look strong for her mother. With tears still rolling down her eyes, Terra nodded to her mother and left her heart shattering in the process. She had lost another family member.

Terra's adoptive mother smiled and two tears rolled down her cheeks before she breathed her last breath. She was gone.

Terra felt emotionless, cold as she killed another cloaked man. Night had fallen, covering the sky in its dark cover and forcing the stars and their twinkling light to come out and shine light on the world. The moon was in shape of a crescent also providing light with its sisters the stars.

Their were no cloaked men left and the tribe land was silent except for the whimpers and soft cries for help from the injured and the dying but Terra couldn't help them, thy would all be dead by morning. Help or not, and that was the cold truth.

But there was the problem, Terra had counted Thirty nine cloaked men dead while searching for her sister and Chane. Her instincts told her there were fifty cloaked men, so that meant eleven were missing. So where...

Terra's thoughts stopped she knew exactly where they were. They were in the forest trying to kill the rest of the survivors. The cloaked men were hunting them.

Terra tore through the forest with the speed of a cheetah. Terra prayed she would make it in time to save her sister and her best friend Chane. She tortured herself with images of Kyra screaming pleading for help but only to be silenced by a sword. Terra couldn't, wouldn't lose another family member.

Terra red hair grew tangled in the wind and her red wolf tail swished angrily behind her as her wolf ears twitched and her green eyes glowing. She had heard the sound of a man yelling and people crying and whimpering as soon as she had crossed a small stream, that the woman of the tribe had once used for drinking water.

The sounds grew louder until Terra had too pause behind a bush on a tall hill. Below her was a small meadow of grass and flowers, where the survivors of the Sahora demon tribe huddled close together as the eleven cloaked men,on horses surrounded them. The tribe had once had hundreds of tribe members now only had about fifty or seventy. Most were children and woman who were untrained in the art of battle.

Terra let out a small sigh through her nose, once she saw Kyra and Chane in the middle of the group. Though battered, they were alive.

Terra's happiness was short lived when one of the cloaked men started yelling.

"Who is the Wise woman? Don't you dare try lying to me again!"

The man was big and buff, he wore the same armor and cloak as his companions. Except he carried a war hammer, unlike his companions who carried weapons that were a little more sharp. Terra let out a low growl of frustration when she realized he wasn't the cloaked men's leader. Though the man carried a air of superiority, none of the men looked like they respected the man and leaders always had at least a little of respect.

Terra's green eyes scanned the cloaked men. None of them had the air of a leader. Terra's brows furrowed. What did they want with her? Where is their leader? Do they want to kill her as they did to her mother?

These questions swirled around in Terra's mind while the cloaked man kept yelling at her people. Terra was about to step out from her hiding spot behind the bush and present herself and to try and negotiate her people's freedom when something moved in the corner of her eye.

Two men appeared from the forest, one cloaked in white riding a black steed and the other was covered in a black cloak and black as night armor covered in beautiful silver designs. He was also riding a black steed. Both men held an air of superiority but only one was the leader and from what Terra could tell it was the one in black.
