The Winter Soldier

Bang! Gunshots echoed throughout the Hydra base. The Avengers were finding their way through the base that Steve knew his old best friend Bucky called home many years ago. They were looking for Pierce himself hoping to eliminate him. As they walked through the halls the Avengers came upon a fork in their path, Tony decided to split them up. "Steve" Tony whispered, "You and Sam go down the left hall, Natasha and Wanda, you girls go down the right hall, and Peter and I will continue straight." They all nodded in agreement and went their ways. After what felt like hours Steve and Sam came to a dead-end, "Great" Sam said annoyed as he shook his hands at the wall that stood in their path, "all this walking to find nothing," he rolled his eyes as the two Avengers turned around to start walking back the way they had just come, "look it's better being safe than sorry, at least we know nothing is down this way". Just as Steve finished his sentence he paused, "What is it?" Sam said as he looked at his friend, "Someone is here..." Steve replied quietly. It was as if a ghost was in their presents, all was silent... Bang! A box of empty glass syringes fell to the ground, shattering instantly and spreading all over the floor fell behind Steve and Sam, causing them to turn around quickly, instantly looking back forward again a man with a metal arm stood in their presents. Steve stared at the man that stood before them, "Look we don't want any trouble, we just want Pierce, we don't want to fight but if you decide against that then we have no problem finishing what you start". No words were said, stares were thrown back and forth until the man with the metal arm spoke, his voice deep and rasp echoed throughout the hall "хорошо, достаточно этого" (alright, enough of this) and with his words spoken he grabbed a knife from his belt and started fighting the two Avengers, even with both Steve and Sam's full strength it was just about impossible to take down the man, it took every inch of fight in Steve and Sams bodies to pin the man to the ground. Footsteps were heard coming towards the fight, Wanda and Natasha appeared around the corner, they must have heard the commotion and wanted to make sure everyone was ok, before them they saw a man fighting Steve and Sam, Steve and Sam continued to pin the man to the group but he always managed to slip free, Wanda walked up to the fight and stood before the man that was once again pinned to the ground, as he was just about to break loose she placed her hand on his head, a rush of red light shone through her hand making the man pass out. "See boys, just like that, easy as!" Wanda said as she laughed, Steve and Sam both laughed an incredibly out-of-breath laugh at the comment as they sat there, exhausted. Natasha walked over to the group that surrounded the strange but incredibly skilled man laying on the floor, "So I finally get to see the Winter Soldier up close". "Winter Soldier?" Steve said with a confused look on his face. Natasha looked at Steve and then back at the man lying on the ground,  "The Winter Soldier is a highly trained assassin, he's credited with over two dozen assassinations in the past 50 years, he's a ghost story who never leaves a trail, he has the strength to lift over 300 tons and has never failed a mission. I met him once... not up close but more so far  away, I was in charge of protecting a client that had a rather big bounty above his head, I was driving him to a safe house that absolutely no one knew of but yet, the Winter Soldier was there, I tried to cover the client but the Winter Soldier shot him.. right though me." As Natasha was talking as she lifted her top slightly to show her bullet wound scar. "So what you are saying is that it's an absolute miracle that we have him in our hands" Sam said as he walked towards the soldier, "well we better see who this assassin is ay?" He reached for the soldiers mask and removed it, "hmph, for an assassin he's pretty good looking haha," Natasha and Wanda both looked at the face of the assassin and agreed. Wanda looked up at Steve, "you're being awfully quiet there Rodgers", "that's... that's Bucky.," Steve stood their in complete shock, "he cant still be here, at Hydra, I thought he was dead, I.. I.. cant believe he's still alive". The whole room went silent. "Well we better bring him back to the Avengers tower then, he might be able to answer some questions" Sam said as he picked the Winter Soldier up. All the Avengers meet up at the headquarters to discuss who they brought back, Steve told stories about Bucky and him and how the normal Bucky would never commit such crimes as the ones the Winter Soldier did. It was agreed, Bucky was going to stay at the Avengers tower, at least for now, until his brain was back and in working order, until then he would stay in the cell by the training rooms where he couldn't hurt anyone.
