Steve stared at Bucky with a confused look, "What?' It was as if the sentence Bucky had said just shot over Steve's head. At this point Sam walked in "There's another Winter Soldier? Did they all turn out like you?" He said sarcastically. "Ease dropper much?" Bucky snarked back, Sam rolled his eyes. Steve finally piped up, "there are more Winter Soldiers?" "No, just one, but she makes up for over 100," Bucky said looking at Steve, "Who is she?" Steve said as he grabbed a chair for Sam and him. "The most elite soldier, more kills than anyone in Hydra history and that was before she received serum, she speaks 30 languages, can hide in plain sight, infiltrate, assassinate, destabilise. She can take a whole country down in one night and you'd never see it coming." Bucky paused, "She is unkillable... She has... magic." "What kind of magic?" Steve said with a stern look, "the kind of magic that'll make you pray she was fighting with you, not against you... telekinesis, energy manipulation, she can read your mind and twist it giving you walking nightmares... She is a pro and is just about impossible to take down." Silence took hold of the room, all three men sat there staring at the floor in disbelief. Steve broke the silence after what felt like hours, "Do you know her?" Bucky didn't change his position, still staring at the ground "I used to." "Well, who was she?" Sam snapped at Bucky, "Calm down Sam" Steve said looking at Sam, "she was captured by Hydra way before I was, taken from her family in the middle of the night, it took Hydra over 90 years to turn her into what she is today, she fought for as long as she could but no matter how strong you are, no one can outlast the Memory Suppressing Machine, it may take them 10 times, it may take them 150 times to brainwash a person, but the machine always wins. Once they had her under their control they pumped her full of serum, making her powerful enough to take on multiple armies at once. When I knew her we used to sit in opposite cells, making up a life for ourselves and what it would be like if we weren't captured by Hydra, we would buy a house in the country, have chickens and cows and flowers everywhere. Our children running in the paddock in front of us while she and I sat on a fence with a cup of cocoa. We were happy and in love with our house in the country." Bucky sat there rubbing his hands together then resting his head in them. "When she was taken, I didn't know that, that was the last time I was going to talk to her, the true her." He sighed "When she came back there was no warmth to her, she didn't know me or remember anything we used to dream about. All she knew was Hydra, wasn't too long after till all I knew was Hydra too... we were both designed to kill, that was our only purpose." There was a pause "You fell in love with her? Didn't you?" Sam asked, replied with Bucky nodding his head slightly. "Don't worry Buck, we'll get her back, she will remember you again... I promise," Steve said as he stood up and opened the cell door to where Bucky was, walking over to him and giving him a hug, Bucky was confused, he forgot what having someone care about him felt like, he smiled and hugged him back.
