The Long Ride Home

The time story

Bri grabbed my hand and ran to the front door. She opened the door and sat right in front of the glass door.

About five minutes later the police and investigators arrived. The investigators came up to the door where Bri and I stood. "Hey kids, I wanna know all you know about this." He said. "Well Amber knows more than me, so I would ask her." Bri said. "Ok, so I wanna know everything that happened."

(~you guys probably already know what's going on so I'm gonna skip the story)

"Ok, so I see what happened. This is one of a common case." The detective said. As the paramedics took moms body away, Bri stood there in tears.

Just then a familiar car parked in the driveway. A man walked out, "DADDY!!!" I screamed as I ran up to him. "Hey, what's going on?" "Umm, it's mommy." I said.

"What!? What happened to her?" He quietly said to us. "I told you it's mom!" Bri screamed. As with that he ran into house and right towards where most cops were standing, Bri and I stood close beheld the police man in front of the door.

"Oh no no no! This can't be happening, what did I do to deserve this?" He started to break down."Sir, I need you too tell me what ya'll were fighting about." The soothing police's voice spoke.

He began...

"It was Charlie's first birthday...," he trailed off. "We were all celebrating, then after the girls went to bed. I asked Maria if she knew where Charlie's bottle was." He added. "She told me no, but I knew she knew. So I went up to her and pushed her off the couch."
"I didn't mean to hurt her, but when she started yelling at me, I threw a boot at her." "It hit her so hard it let opened a deep gash on her forehead."
" I ran up to her to helped but she pushed me away. She yelled and accused me, I was shocked in fury."

"We started fighting, the kicking, the screaming, the calling of names." He said. "Yes

"She screamed at me that I was asshole and the kids never did and never will love me. So I packed up a few things and before I left I said that she was never ment to be a mother and never ment to live."

"And I just lost it, I could never see her again" he said as he looked over to us and cried.

We ran and hugged him, nothing could make us stop loving him. " I see sir that you are probably not the causing of this." The officer said. "What?! How could I, I said she was never ment to live." He replied. "Yes but it seemed that she was sucidal in her early teenage years. This might have effected it, but not much at all." The detective said. "So you're telling me it wasn't my fault?" He said. "Well, basically. It's not your fault,"."I'm sad for you're lost, but she's in a better place now." The detective said. "So now just stay home, and take it easy. Everything will be ok." The officer said.

"Ok." My dad said

~later on at night

We sat at the dinner table and dad made us Mac 'n Cheese.

"Ok, so today wasn't the best day ever, or the worse. But let's put this all behind us, and pray." He said

Dear Heavenly Father,

"We come to you today to praise and worship You're name. You know about our lost and we pray to you about her. Just take her into your loving arms and welcome her into Heavan. We love you and all you do.....
Thank you Lord for watching over me, Brianna, Amber, and Charlie. Thank You for all the blessings, the answered prayers and for all you do. In Your precious name. "

"Amen"

Dad said. After the prayer we ate but where was Charlie? I got up from the table and look all around the house. "Charlie!"

"Charlie!"

"Charlie"

Just then there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see 2 tall men. "May I help you?" I asked in the most polite way. "Yes." His deep voice answered. "And what would that be?" I asked.

"We are looking for a man by the name of David." He said

I froze in silence, David is my dads name. "Umm.. I think you have the wrong family sir." I said.

The other man joined in. "We are never wrong little lady."

"IM NOT LITTLE!" I yelled.

Just then the men walked straight into my house. Searching for my dad. About an half 'n hour later they found him in the garage working on his pick-up truck. "May I help you gentlemen?" Dad asked.

"Sir I need you to come with us," he said. "We found your daughter."

Boom!!

I know I haven't updated this story in a while but I'll start updating sooner and faster.

And if not Arirana or Destiny can slap me upside the head for it
