Draconic?! Draconic?

The dragon swooped down from the inky well of blackness that is the sky and... grabbed me!
I heard my friends yelling down below but didn't care. I knew master wouldn't hurt me.
I barely skimmed the sharp blade on the END of its tail, but it left an about 2 inch long cut on my cheek. Master dropped me on an obsidian castle in the sky, if you can even call it that. he rumbled, stay here, while I deal with those annoyances down below.
Master then swooped down and swung at Adam, Bash, Mitch, and Jerome. at that point I had snapped back into reality, seeing where I was. I looked in my backpack and saw that I had an ender pearl from the few endermen that tried to attack us. I aimed and threw it right in between the dragon and Sky. The dragon paused mid-slash and looked at me in shock. I once again made the mistake of looking into its hypnotic eyes.
Why did you stop me from finishing him off
"Master, I am your loyal servant but I can't let you hurt my friends." Adam and the others gaped in shock. I turned to face them "If you wish to harm master you must go through me first."
"Ty! What the balls dude?! We came here to kill the dragon and get the treasured egg!" Bash said in his own silly way.
"Leave and you shall not have to harm me." I said, my voice soulless and flat.
"B-But we have to kill the dragon to get back to the overworld!" Mitch stuttered, obviously confused by the fact that I was defending the dragon.
i look at master, he sighs and glances at the portal. It flickered to life.
"Now go."
"Only if you come with." Jerome told me.
I looked at master, and he told me, go. I will send word for you later.
I nodded and looked back at my friends. "I will go back home with you."
We walked back through the portal and into the overworld.
