Chara Pov

James: 100 more!

I was throwing punches to a tree as the tree shook from the impact of my fists. My hands were red and hurting but I needed to condition my hands and improve my strikes. I kept throwing punches and eventually I hit 100 and stopped. The front of the tree looked as if it was cut as the bark was gone and a pile of dust was on the ground.

James: Put your hands in here.

James held a bucket with water and ice in it. I stuck my hands in it and sighed as the cold water numbed the pain in my fists.

James: You're making great improvements, I'd say the next goal is building muscle and weight for you.

Chara: I've never been good at gaining weight.

James: Haha! None to fear, I'll make sure you do.

James went into his cabin and came back with a cup with what looked like a smoothie with different meats.

James: There's deer, bear, beef and pork in this, it's hard to eat all of that so in a drinkable form it'll be better.

Chara: Thanks.

I took a drink of it and I immediately gagged, it tasted like shit.

James: HAHAHAA!! Tat's always the first reaction, but trust me you'll thank me.

I shivered and took another sip of it and winced. It was so gross. I eventually finished it and I wanted to throw up.

James: Don't throw up or it'll be a waste.

I managed to hold back my urge to throw up and we began training, we started with me carrying heavy bags with sand in it, the bag being loose the sand shifted weight never giving me a easy time, I would carry it up up and down James mountain as he did the same with me. My entire body feeling the weight of the bag we did it 20 times before we were done.

I may have not realized it but I was subconsciously preparing for a big fight. I just didn't know what that would be.

Gang: You practice Karate so you this as Kata. Practicing movements for muscle memory and to build strength. Kata and Karate learned this from Chinese Martial Arts. For you to master Kata you'll have a strong foundation. As the great Martial Artists say, Master the Basics, you become a warrior.

Gang did a demonstration moving his arms around like a flowing river and his legs moved along, his knees bent making it a squat as he kept going.
